Hyundai Genesis Featured in SuperBowl
So what are your thoughts on the Hyundai Genesis? Hyundai seems to be gambling on the luxury market and are trying to make a move with the Genesis. When I say “gambling” I mean it: look at how many spots they bought in the Super Bowl.
Does Hyundai really have a BMW beater? Or is this just hype?

If Hyundai can shake its image as value or budget brand, then yes, this car will sell well. However, given the fact that most people still equate Hyundai with cheap crap. It’s going to be a hard sell for luxuary car bars.
I think they should of marketed the car under a different brand, like how Lexus was created by Toyota and Acura was created by Honda. This would’ve helped consumers envision the car as a luxury car, rather then a budget brand trying to sell a luxury car.
As for myself, I am looking to buy a new car at the end of the year and this sedan / coupe has just made my list of cars to test drive.
