Also, who enforces this parking spot? Definitely not the municipality. What can IKEA really do if someone in a gas guzzling SUV pulls into the spot? Is it fair? I'm not sure... to be on the nit pick side, you give a hybrid car up front parking, they don't have to drive around looking for a space, while any other car producing more hazardous exhaust has to drive around and find a space, eco-friendly? I also feel the sign is vague... it simply says Hybrid parking... what if I fuse two cars together, slap a hybrid badge on it (simply by definition)... can I park there?
