   I’ve seen Hybrid parking signs in various places for a few years now. Is it fair? I’m not sure… to be on the nit pick side, you give a hybrid car up front parking, they don’t have to drive around looking for a space, while any other car producing more hazardous exhaust has to drive around and find a space, eco-friendly?

   I also feel the sign is vague… it simply says Hybrid parking… what if I fuse two cars together, slap a hybrid badge on it (simply by definition)… can I park there?

   Even more so… it only says ‘cars’ no SUV or Cross-overs allowed, hmm?

   Good points by the above commenter. Also, who enforces this parking spot? Definitely not the municipality. What can IKEA really do if someone in a gas guzzling SUV pulls into the spot?

   I can see this “initiative” causing annoyance, instead of encouraging the switch to enviro-friendly cars as they probably originally intended.

   The fact that the majority of Ikea products are produced by means of child labour doesn’t concern you? I don’t think that’s uber cool
