Honda Center, Home To The Anaheim Ducks

Honda and the National Hockey League have announced a corporate partnership that will make Honda the official vehicle of the NHL. A three-year agreement, the partnership includes television and Internet sponsorship, as well as guaranteeing Honda coveted participation at NHL events in both the United States and Canada. In addition, Honda will also receive premium product coverage during games, including in-house signage as well as significant air time during televised games.

Although Honda has been partnered with the NHL indirectly since 2006 when they financed the Honda Center, furnishing a new pond for NHL team the Anaheim Ducks, Honda was never formally guaranteed sponsorship until now. Although spotted ominously skating the ice without a stick, Ford has yet to comment on how this will effect their current partnership with the NHL.
