Regardless of what your thoughts are on the sport of automotive hill climbing there is simply no denying that seeing it accomplished in a 1971 Trans Am is bad ass. The driver is Roger Bolliger, the power comes from a 496 cu-in V8 that makes 700 hp, and the top speed of 193 mph comes from the fact that Bolliger possesses some of the biggest gonads in all of motorsport. This beast is all race car with no frills attached. It’s unbridled horsepower defined and watching it in action is simply a joy. Now, would I want to roll uphill in a car such as this?
