Hennessey Venom GT

Matt Farah of Youtube’s DRIVE Network is back for an all new season of TUNED. On his first episode Matt and crew venture down to hot sweaty Texas to drive the 1-million dollar Hennessey Venom GT. This car pulls from just about every parts bin out there. It started off as a Lotus Exige, was then chopped, widened and stretched, and then treated to a custom suspension and a twin-turbo GM LS based mill. It packs a whopping 1200 + horsepower and with enough road should be able to hit its theoretical top speed of 272 mph. Not bad for a season opener eh?

    I want to see that car on the UK Top Gear attempting to set a new record. Also, shame he didn’t wait to do that car till the season finale, but I suppose the opener is the second best.

    And finally, DAMN! That car is just as quick as I would think it to be.
