The automotive rear wing is a major bone of contention amongst many car enthusiasts. Back in the day seeing a rear wing on an automobile usually meant power, speed and performance. Manufacturers included them into the cars design out of necessity and purpose. You see once upon an automotive time the rear wing meant something. It showed that an automobile was special and that from a performance standpoint, you simply shouldn’t fuck with it. Today however times have changed and we as enthusiasts have fallen into the dark ages of the wing. In recent years it has become the icon of the import crowd, where the bigger the wing usually meant the smaller the winky.
