Good Luck Crying Your Way Out of This 210+ MPH in a 65 MPH Zone Ticket

“No officer, I have no idea how fast I was going …” might not cut it in this situation. Philip Odegard, scion of the Odegard Media “empire,” apparently likes to wring out his Bugatti Veyron on public roads at extralegal speeds, and had the misfortune of apparently being pulled over after reaching more than 210 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. The road in question is CA Route 73, a toll road in LA. The fine? Make the jump to find out.

A measly $500!!! Come on. No jail time for nearly quadrupling the speed limit. Now, that’s just for this particular infraction, so who knows what else will be thrown his way. But unless this is an elaborate joke, prank, hoax, or punking, we think Odegard will probably be little deterred by a $500 penalty in his $1.5 million dollar ride. Good story to tell your grandkids though!

WTF?! my ticket for going 72 in a 35 was >$340 and another car in front of me was going 60 just because they slammed on their brakes a split second before i SAFELY slowed down to catch the pig gunning us.
