 Chevy Equinox Hydrogen Fuel Cell

Have you been looking for a way that you could be part of the revolution? Well if you live in California, New York or Washington D.C. GM is offering you the chance to be a Hydrogen Fuel Cell guinea pig. By making the Hydrogen fueled Chevy Equinox a part of your daily drive you are taking a part in the future of Hydrogen fuel cell technologies. You also get a free ride for a little while.

To enter for a chance to test drive the Hydrogen powered Equinox all you have to do is go to the Chevrolet site and enter for your chance to be selected. Those who are selected will participate in the collection of data from their driving experience. The collected data will then be processed at GM to determine the feasibility of their 4th generation Hydrogen Fuel Cell program.

A bit of amusement: on the Chevy site they refer to the 4th generation Hydrogen Fuel Cell as their best yet. I seriously doubt they would advertise the 5th generation fuel cell as the worst ever.

Participants will be selected by their proximity to Hydrogen refueling stations and according to a broad range of driving styles to collect the most useful data possible. The Hydrogen powered Equinox has a range of 200 miles between refuelings and has a zero emissions rating. The only emitants emanating from that tail pipe is some old fashioned H2O.

To learn more as to how you can enter to be a test driver for the Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell program just head on over to the Chevy website.
