You probably don’t know the “Mark of Excellence” by that name – instead, imagine that little chrome wart appearing on any late model GM product and you’ll understand why GM has decided that it’s a bad idea to link ALL of their products to the formerly bankrupt entity. Apparently GM execs finally read that giant stack of marketing research demonstrating that most people don’t even know that Chevrolet is a GM brand … so it’s probably best not to rock that particular boat. Will we miss the ugly little buggers on everything from the Cobalt to the ZR1? Nope.
