Can somebody out there explain the whole “paint our rides in grocery livery” trend to me? Is it the urban youth way of rebelling against The Man by promoting his products? Are you secretly getting a cut from grocery stores or food companies? Is there some blend of subliminal marketing that causes women to throw themselves at guys with breakfast cereal paint jobs?
I’m not criticizing here, but I just don’t get it. Somebody please run this down for me.

$20 Says he’s Black, and I’m black so I can say that!:)
i dont get it either… and i live in the home town of the infamous YooHoo Donk, among others… Levi’s, Koolaid, Jolly Rancher, Warheads….. ive noticed that painting cars up in Nascar livery has gone to the wayside for the local 7-11 shelves
This whole time I had assumed they were paint jobs paid for by the manufacturer being advertised, sort of like the old ads that were painted on the side of barns back in the day, free paint and labor in exchange for free advertising space.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
