Formula One Boss sells car collection
The boss of Formula One Bernie Ecclestone is having a garage sale and no he is not selling a few nik naks from one of his many homes, he is actually selling the contents of his garage, or many garages in this case.

The 77 year old is said to be tidying up his life, maybe even preparing for the day when he retires from F1, in any case the sale of some fantastic cars is probably just the beginning of things to come.
The sale will be held in London at:
RM Auctions, Battersea Park, The British Genius Site, Battersea Park, London, UK.
Previews, 30th & 31st October 2007, and Sale Day, 31st October 2007.
The collection which is said to be in top condition, well you would expect it to be, will consist of some pretty fantastic cars and one rather strange addition, that must hold some sentimental value.

Some favorites from the Bernie Ecclestone collection:
1933 Marmon Sixteen Victoria Coupe,
1950 Ferrari 250 GT Europa Mk II,
1937 Mercedes 540 K Cabriolet B, (Estimated to be valued at around $7 million).
1933 Lancia Astura Roadster,
Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gull wing,
1964 Ford Anglia.
Apart from the Ferrari, the only other car of interest is the Ford Anglia! What a strange addition to a collection that has so many other classic cars, well I suppose that the Anglia was a unique concept at the time of it launch. The collection is estimated to be worth around $30 million.
