For Sale: Slight Frame Damage

I’ll admit it, over the years I’ve dinged up a few automobiles – some seriously and some not so seriously. With every incident though I was always wise enough to bring my cars to the appropriate mechanic or body shop so as to get a fair and just assessment of the damage. It’s not only good practice, but can in fact save you from having another wreck further down the road. There are times however when I see things like this pickup here. It’s obviously been subject to a pretty serious accident as it takes quite a bit of force to taco a truck frame like that. What concerns me though is that the owner has seen fit to do a little handy work of their own by tacking on what looks to be some aluminum siding in the hopes of hiding the damage. Just and FYI to the owner… it didn’t work.

Every Chevy 1500 of that era and earlier I’ve ever seen has this problem. Pieces of trash.
