You haven’t truly “arrived” until Madame Tussuad has created an extremely unsettling full-scale wax sculpture of you, and now legendary Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton can proudly say his career has come full circle. In addition to countless motorsport victories and two F1 drivers championship wins, Hamilton now has a $230,000 wax likeness of himself to add to his list of accolades. Unveiled this week at Madame Tussuad’s Wax Museum in London, Hamilton’s doppelgänger sports authentic F1 racing gear, replete with a McLaren fire suit, helmet, and racing gloves. Not the first motorsport hero to grace the halls of Madame Tussuad’s, lead-foot Louie’s (you knew it was coming, why fight it?) wax likeness is joined by expertly crafted copies of racing veterans Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell and Michael Schumacher.
