For some reason they do not want the United States to be energy independent.

The lack of action is apparent and we remain hostages, mostly of the Middle East oil-producing countries and Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela…and now we are being prepared to expect a Spring and Summer with $4.00/gallon gas.

We could be drilling in ANWR (in Alaska). We could be drilling off the coasts of Florida and California. Hell, we could be drilling in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and a number of other places within our borders.

We haven’t built any refining capacity in years.

There is such a thing as clean-burning coal.., and there is also nuclear energy.

We’re being sold cars which will run on E85 Ethanol. Folks, there is not enough corn growing capacity in this nation to make much of a dent in terms of our demand for energy.

We send our hard-earned dollars to these Middle-Eastern terrorists so that they can plan their next assault on our citizens…
…and our politicians “fiddle while Rome burns”.

It is time for all Americans to unite, and to tell our elected officials (all across the country) to get down to the business of doing what needs to be done to make us energy independent…
…otherwise it is only a matter of time before you’ll be paying $5.00 or $6.00/gallon.
