Embargo Be Damned! 2010 Jaguar XJ Photos Leaked
You know what they say, “Loose lips get clicks.” Someone (you guessed it, NetCarShow) has decided to break the embargo on the new 2010 Jaguar XJ sedan. As expected, styling draws heavily on Jaguar’s new design language evident in the recent XJ and XF models. The coupe-like profile reminds me of a Rapide. What’s interesting is the new tail lamp styling which is nothing like the other cars, sort of like a Lincoln MKS. Expect power to come from a 5.0L V8 for the XJ and a supercharged version of the same engine for the R. Hit the jump for the rest of the goodness.

While the XF is an attractive car, it doesn’t have that unique Jaguar style that catches the eye on the road. I currently own my third XJ, 2002 XJ8 Sport, and love the “antiquated” styling. If this is the new styling for the XJ, I may be forced to look towards a Mercedes for my next sedan.

Sir William must be twitching at this latest incarnation of his lovley XJ. A poor Aston copy with Lincoln tail lights. Not quite what you would expect from a mark that according to Road and Track and Enzo Ferrari (Ok, it was 1961 and and E-Type) produced the worlds most beautiful car.
