The Lotus Elise is and always has been a little firecracker of a car. Sure it’s tiny, but when your ripping past Porsche 911′s on the inside of a corner at your local track day, well then, who cares. The formula here is simple; take one really lightweight automobile and give it great suspension, brakes and a decent engine and PRESTO! Instant pocket rocket. Matt Farah of DRIVE’s Tuned recently took a very special Lotus for a ride. In fact with a better power-to-weight ratio then a Bugatti Veyron you could say that this little Lotus could be the ultimate giant killer.

    I would pay good money to see this car go toe to toe with the full powered Hennessey Venom GT so they can settle which is faster.
