It’s not uncommon these days to come across cars that make well over 500 hp. The Corvette ZR1 for example pumps out an astonishing 638 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque, and that’s from the factory. The Nissan GT-R however is an entirely different animal. You see it’s powered by a V6, it’s all-wheel drive and from a technology standpoint it’s right up there with the space shuttle. Sure in stock form it only made 480 hp (at least that’s what the 2009 model made). However once you start tinkering around a bit the power you can get from its twin-turbo V6 is simply astronomical. Matt Farah of Youtube’s DRIVE Network recently put the 950 hp Switzer GT-R through it’s paces and came away with some thoughts that may just surprise everyone.
