Blade Runner, Aliens, Star Wars and The Fifth Element are all films that utilized the talents of futurists and concept designers to open up our imaginations to new worlds and ideas. For people who are into transportation these films give us a small glimpse of what also may be possible down the road. Scott Robertson is a concept designer who has the ability to visually express his ideas of the future through design, and he does it in a way that is simply astonishing. His new book, DRIVE takes us on a journey of what might be. His artwork is thought provoking, beautiful and aggressive and is something that is sure to peak the minds of car enthusiasts the world over. Robertson has done work for BMW Designworks/USA, Mattel Toys, Universal Studios, Rockstar Games and Fiat just to name a few. Robertson captures the essence of what future transportation might look like, while at the same time keeping us intrigued page after page. The book is set in a 9″ x 11″ landscape format and contains over 300 illustrations in its 176 pages.
