Even though I love boating and I think that the sport of drifting is cool, I somehow feel that the two probably shouldn’t be combined. When you’re drifting there are things to protect you if and when you crash. You’ve got barricades, sand traps and purpose built runoff areas, whereas on a boat there is nothing but water. Sure the impact won’t be as severe, but think of what kind of a tool you’d be known as if you were the first guy to drown while drifting.

Ahh… what people will do for publicity.
