I always find it amusing when people find out how many miles I generally put on my old cars. Both my cars are 44 and 43 years old respectively, and thanks to the wonderful California weather I get to drive them… a lot. For some reason people seem to forget that all those years ago these were daily drivers doing daily driver things. They went to the super market, took the kids to school and were used as transportation to and from the office. In short, they were used as cars were supposed to be used. In Josh Clason’s newest Depth of Speed: High Mileage, we meet John Jackson, of NotStock Photography. John travels the country in his 1964 Corvair van snapping photos of anything and everything automotive and in the process has racked up over 170,000 miles in the last 4-years.
That my friends is simply brilliant.
