About The 1973 Corvette
The 1973 Corvette received a new hood and the rear window was no longer removable. Safety regulations necessitated that the car be able to sustain a 5 mph impact without damage to the headlights. Efforts were also made to produce a quieter ride, with sound proofing panels being added to the sides.
