10. 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa
The third 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa on our list is one of only 22 “pontoon-fender” styled models ever built. After it’s 2009 sale, it held the record for the most expensive car auction sale of all time selling for over $12,000,000 in USD (yes, that record has been beat at least 5 times just since 2009). After being sold to Alan Connell of Fort Worth, Texas, this car was entered into a number of north and south American racing events, eventually becoming one of the most competitive racing Ferraris ever built. The car won 10 races between 1958 and 1961, and is composed of a 300 bhp, 2,953cc single overhead cam degrees V-12 engine, six Weber 38 DCN carburetors, and a four-speed manual gearbox.
