9. 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM Berlinetta Competizione
This car is the only car to be driven in the World Sports Car Championship by three World Champions, participated in the 24 hours of Spa, the Carrera Panamericana, and a winner of the 12 hours of Pescara. Through several owners, the car has been exposed to exacting restorations, perfecting its original look–including its livery– for the 1953 Le Mans. During the 1953 Carrera Panamericana the car set a public road stage record that has yet to be broken, maintaining an average speed of 138mph for an astounding 223 miles. The car was sold for $12,812,800 at an auction at Villa Erba in 2013.
