this van is occasonaly called the spaceship,or thats what my frinds call mine. its wierd but gets around and can beat an areostar. one of my buddys had an areostar and it didnt stand a chance! ive had mine for almoast 1 year and it dosent ever seem to break down. i saw what the prototype looked like, and this summer im going to buy a hood and cut the front off, and somehow buy a grill that will fit to make it look like the real prototype.

We definitely still have one of these, a 1988 model, in the family. It's been with us for about 10 years and made it clear across Canada and back one summer with its weedy little four-pot sucking back fuel like the state patrolmen pounded maple syrup in Super Troopers. It left us on the side of the road twice that trip, but due to a sneak-attack low fuel light.

haha blast from the past! i have mixed feelings for this car. i remember back in the '90s loathing its odd appearance, but now whenever i rarely see one on the road, perhaps nostalgia and the current wave of cookie-cutter blob cars has inspired an appreciation for its over-the-top rocketship angles.
