Headless Prank

It’s one thing to pull up to the drive-thru at your favorite fast food joint in a car with no driver. But pulling up in a car that contains a driver without a head? Now that’s just crazy. Shot by “The Magic of Rahat”, the same joker who brought you the driver-less car prank, comes the headless driver. The cashiers reactions are understandably pretty priceless with a combined sense of shock and awe. However what impresses me the most is how are headless driver keeps his cool throughout the entire ordeal. Check it out after the jump.

Boeing 747 Lifting in place in extreme wind conditions.

Boeing 747

Okay, so this post may not be automotive related, but it is pretty flippin’ cool. What you are seeing is a Boeing 747 that’s sitting at the fabled aircraft bone yard in Mojave, CA in extremely high wind conditions (think 70-100 mph gusts). A tail-heavy plane to begin with, the big 747 is literally lifted skyward as the high winds hit, thanks in part to its heavy engines being removed and its landing flaps deployed. The video is not fake and just goes to show us that, regardless of how large and item is, Mother Nature can (an will) always get the upper hand.

Just so you know, stunts like the one you’re about to see between Pikes Peak record holder Rhys Millen in a new McLaren 12C Spider and Chanelle Sladics, Winter Games Medallist are completely rigged. That does not however mean that they’re any less entertaining to watch. Rambler Wagon

Up until 1984, the year Chrysler’s minivan came out, station wagons were the select mode of transportation for the American family. They were big, powerful and with room for 8 (in most cases) these behemoths of the open road transported millions of families from Point A to Point B in absolute comfort. The 1969 American Motors AMC Rebel SST Station Wagon was one such beast, however with an advertising campaign like the one you’re about see, I’m in shock they sold even one.

F-150 SVT Raptor at the Nurburgring

Ford SVT Raptor

Driving and oddball car in an arena where it has no business being is one of the greatest feelings in the known universe. For instance, when I used to take my 1968 Dodge Charger to the race track and school C5 Corvettes, the owners would simply come away dumbfounded. I would imagine that’s just how pro-racer, Top Gear host and all around hoon Tanner Foust felt when he decided to sling a Ford SVT Raptor around Germany’s famed Nurburgring. Is it totally absurd? Yep… it sure is, but honestly who cares, as this must have been one epic experience.

Grey Poupon Lost Footage

Back in the early 1980′s Grey Poupon Dijon mustard launched an ad campaign that went down as one of histories best. It showed two Rolls-Royce sedans pull up alongside each other, and with the simple flick of a window switch, the world was introduced to the phrase, “Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?” The ad was brilliant, but apparently, 30 years later some controversy arose around a portion of lost footage that hasn’t been seen until now. Back to the Future

Almost 30 years has gone by since Back to the Future hit the big screen in 1985. Back then cars were slow, fashion was terrible and cocaine was all the rage. Thankfully time has marched on, and while most of the 1980′s has been forgotten, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t thankful that Back to the Future still remains. Oh, and for those of you who have never seen it before, here it is wrapped up into a 60-second montage.

Mustang Police Interceptor

Back in the 1980′s and 1990′s law enforcement agencies throughout the United States used the Ford Mustang as their high speed pursuit vehicle.
