Your mortgage (or your rent) is late, the job you hate is on thin ice and your 15 year old beater car is on it’s last legs. There are no jobs, the economy is in shambles, our cars are trying to kill us and everything you eat, drink or breathe contains something to ensure you die a slow, horrible death. We’re about a year away from killing each other in the streets for food, and no matter how many guns or how much ammo you own, it still isn’t enough.
So what else can you do but laugh about it? We’ve got you covered with 35 more demotivational posters, just in time for the collapse of Western society (or the weekend, whichever comes first). Enjoy!

Add lightness. And a new, sleeker face.
The new 2011 Lotus Elise takes a few cues from the Evora, most notably the refined schnoz and hood. The 1.8-liter Toyota mill gets a bump to 192 horsepower naturally aspirated and 217 supercharged. The base S model will come with a 1.6-liter tricked out with Valvematic and Dual VVI-i.
I could just eat it up.

Contrary to the wash of fantastic, extremely inaccurate reports currently making their way around the web detailing the tragic demise of the iconic Dodge Viper, Chrysler has no intention of killing of the supercharged snake. Heavily revising it beyond the point of recognition, yes, killing it, not exactly.
As detailed during the 6-hour press conference hosted by Chrysler yesterday, the Dodge Viper as we currently know it will cease production in 2010 and be replaced by a Fiat-engineered successor in 2012. What has sparked the deluge of rumors are the suggestions that the new Viper will be such only in theory and bear little (if any) resemblance to the Viper of today.

Just when you thought your reputation at the track was safely ensconced within the custom leather interior of your M3, BMW releases the M3 GTS. Outfitted with a rollcage and a six-point racing harness, the M3 GTS is designed to separate the truly discerning motorsport enthusiasts from the wealthy housewives/heiresses/frat boys and – the audacity! – doesn’t even come with an automatic transmission offering. As a matter of fact, the M3 GTS is a death sentence on 19″ M light-alloy Competition rims for the hardcore poseur, which could be the primary reason BMW as no plans to introduce it to the North American market.

Thanks to the vigilant Corvette fanboys at the SmokinVette forum, I’m happy to furnish you with enough raw ZedR1 footage to kill at least 5 minutes at work, possibly more depending on whether or not your able to watch all the related videos.
C’mon, it’s Friday, no one’s watching – just slap some head phones on and hunch over your screen. I promise you it’s worth the risk.

Earlier this week we brought you official coverage of the new Toyota FT-86 Concept’s first pre-Tokyo unveiling, and today we’ve got a set of renderings to further sate your rabid Hachi-Roku lust. Although you were probably hoping for more info regarding exactly what kind of Subie Boxer monster is under the hood, the best the sketches can give you is a little bit of eye candy. Official details will likely be released with the Hachi Roku’s official unveiling, but we advise you to bask in the bliss of ignorance now since anything with a Toyota badge on it is guaranteed to suck the soul right out of the Subaru powerplant.

Look familiar, fanboys? It should, the Toyota FT-86 (pronounced hachi roku, for all you amateurs) concept pictured above is based on the famed AE86 coupe of the 80’s. Set to break at the Tokyo Motor Show in a few weeks, little is known about the FT-86 save for the 2.0L Subaru boxer engine under the hood that strongly suggests we may be looking at the infamous Subieyota. Of course, after years of waiting with no official confirmation from either camp, every vague piece of news released from either Toyota or Subaru sends us into a frenzy of speculation regarding a secret partnership, so feel free to disregard our suspicions.

For fans of working-class superhero sportscars like the all-conquering Nissan GT-R, you can rest assured that Nissan isn’t going to rest on its laurels or let the current recession kill their plans to replace the current R35 model. They’re already hard at work on the next model, the R36, according to Nissan’s VP of global product planning Andy Palmer. They’re pegging the product cycle’s length to that of it’s arch-nemesis (on the ‘Ring, at least), the Porsche 911.

If James Glickenhaus gets his way, NART, Ferrari’s North American Racing Team, might be making a comeback. If you don’t know the name, you probably know about his custom Ferrari P4/5, a rebodied Ferrari Enzo one-off that he commissioned from Pininfarina. Now Glickenhaus has dropped to the media that he wants to build another P4/5 car, a “competizione” version, and take it racing, reviving the idea of an American Ferrari team running factory-supported World Sportscar Championship-type cars for the first time since 1973.

If a Lamborghini employee called me on the phone and offered me free a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sant’Agata factory, it would take me about 0.00003 seconds to say yes. Unfortunately, I’m in San Francisco and Lamborghini is located in that country shaped like a boot across the pond. Thankfully the National Geographic Channel have solved the age-old conundrum, sending the team from their series called “Ultimate Factories” off to Italy. The new episode that follows the construction (all by hand, of course) of a brand new Murciélago SV from start to finish. I secured a few short clips that speak for themselves, so make the jump for a preview of the episode (which airs October 1st on the National Geographic Channel).
