Italian cars and reliability are two things that generally do not go hand-in-hand. Sometimes however there are exceptions to that rule and according to this owner, the following 1983 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole is one of them. The owner states that aside from a few small body blemishes that this car was “Kept in mechanically perfect condition” and that “paint chips are your only headache.” Now I’m not sure if that’s 100% accurate, but if it is, you’re looking at getting into a Ferrari for the same price as a new Honda Accord. Pretty good stuff if you ask me.

There are those out there who will view this video and reel back in disgust. They’ll say, “HOW CAN YOU DO THAT TO AN ENZO and WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU!!” To those people we simply say to shut your mouths, relax and feel good in the fact that someone, somewhere out there, is doing everything that we’d ever want to do with an Enzo Ferrari and more. God bless these folks!

You see every now and again they release a video of something crazy like a Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari F50 or a Bugatti doing some insane stuff, things that usually, normal owners would never do. These guys however simply don’t give a shit which is why I want them to adopt me. In their latest installment they take a torch red Ferrari 288 GTO, the predecessor to the F40 and have a little gymkhana-esque sideways fun with it. Check it out after the jump.

Ferrari V12 Berlinetta

The new Ferrari V12 Berlinetta has a whopping 740 hp under the hood and a top speed of over 200 mph. It’s ungodly fast, handles like no other GT car on the planet, and has body lines that Pamela Anderson would kill for. Therefore it should come as no surprise that when Ferrari offered one to Chris Harris (and 5 sets of extra tires) he immediately said, YES – and then proceeded to hoon himself into the next century.

Ferrari 458 Speciale

The F355 Challenge, 360 Challenge Stradale, the F430 Scuderia and now the 458 Speciale. These are the cars produced by Ferrari that are designed to provide non-professional drivers with a much more intense and extreme experience behind the wheel. The Ferrari 458 Speciale is the newest kid on the block replacing the F430 Scuderia that came before it. It’s faster, sharper and as a whole, a better package. For those of you who can afford it, bravo! For those of us who can’t, we’ll just sit by the sidelines and drool…

If you’ve ever wondered what a proper flat-12 Ferrari sounds like, well then, look no further. This is a 1992 Ferrari 512 TR. It packs 421 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque, runs to 60 mph in around 5-seconds and tops out at 180 mph. Chris Harris recently got his hands on one and instead of talking about it, he simply put a microphone on the exhaust, recorded it and then posted it live for all of us to watch.

Thank you Mr. Harris. Thank you.

Lamborghini Countach Lp400 vs Ferrari 512 BB

Posted in European Rides, Ferrari, General, Lamborghini, Videos by MrAngry | September 1st, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

Lamborghini Countach

The Lamborghini Countach and the Ferrari 512BB. Two legendary cars that graced the walls of millions of adolescent boys throughout the 1970′s and 1980′s. The Countach Lp400 was powered by a 350 hp V12 that produced 263 lb-ft of torque. This meant a top speed of over 180 mph – in 1974!! The Ferrari pumped out 360 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque from its horizontal flat-12 engine and also ran over 180 mph flat out. Both cars are icons and both extremely quick, even by today’s standards. The biggest problem though is their price tags, as each car commands high 6-figures. Oh well… one can dream.
