Audi R8 V10

If Audi set-up displays like this in their dealerships, they’d move triple the amount of R8’s they currently sell.

Kawasaki vs Audi RS6 on the autobahn.

Autobahn Run

Back in my younger (and dumber) days, running flat out on the open road on two-wheels was something that we’d do just about every weekend. Our runs however were somewhat illegal, whereas the race you’re about to see between a Kawasaki liter bike and an Audi RS6 was performed well withing the spectrum of the law as it took place on Germany’s autobahn. Both parties are no doubt maxed out, but in my opinion it’s the guy on the bike that really deserves the props.

2013 Audi S5 Coupe

PRO’s: Outstanding build quality, wonderful performance, supermodel sexy.

CON’s: Big sticker price, doesn’t feel as fast as it actually is, a bit tight for taller drivers.

FINAL THOUGHTS: A kick-ass sports coupe that has no problem taking on the worlds best.

If you’re reading this then you’re probably wondering if the 2013 Audi S5 Coupe S tronic is worth the $67,370 price tag that comes on the sticker. I just spent the better part of a week with this thing and I can tell you that after about 500 miles on some of Northern California’s best roads, that the answer is just not as simple as YES or No. This is a jack-of-all-trades performance coupe. It produces great numbers, is all-weather capable and has some of the best styling in the business. However, does that justify this whopper of a price tag?

Audi Luxury Through the Years

Posted in Audi by Ryan | January 27th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

Over the years Audi has been known for it’s luxurious cars. Audi was founded in a time when cars were only available to the very wealthy and only seen as a luxury item and status symbol. Unlike Ford in America, they were not concerned with making automobiles available and practical for everyone, they were concerned with luxury.

Even though Audi was found in Germany, their luxurious cars have become increasingly popular in the United States. Sales in recent years have soared as more and more people are experiencing the luxury and power of an Audi.

eBay Deal of the Week: 1975 BMW 2002

Whether you know it or not, the BMW 2002 is one of the most important little cars ever imported into the United States. As one of the first true sports sedans on the market, it showed consumers that you could indeed have fun while hauling 4 passengers in comfort. This 1975 model is up for sale on eBay and I’ve got to say it’s one trick little machine. Clad in slick black paint with an updated 170 HP 2.4L four-cylinder engine, dual 45 DCOE Weber carburetors, and BBS style wheels wearing Kumho 215 45 ZR16 tires, this 2002 has you covered in the performance department. The interior will not disappoint either with such upgrades as Porsche Recaro seats with netted headrests and a McIntosh head unit with 4×6 Infinity speakers. The bidding ends in 5 days so make sure to click through to check out more pics, or click here to go directly to the auction.

BMW M135i v Audi RS3: Chris Harris on Cars

BMW M135i vs Audi RS3

In the past you’ve seen us cover hot hatches like the Mazda Speed3 and Ford Focus ST, but is there such a thing as too much hot hatch? I think so. You see hot hatches are supposed to be economical, quick and fun to drive, not full-on track burners as many of the manufacturers would have you think. For instance in this weeks Chris Harris on Cars, the man himself gets behind the wheel of the new BMW M135i and Audi RS3. On paper these cars should be flat-out monsters, however one thing sort of kills it. That being the massive price tag they both carry. Now don’t get me wrong, they’re both great cars, but if I’m spending over 30k on a new car you can bet it’s not going to have a hatch attach to it.

2013 Audi A5

Thumbs Up: Arguably one of the best-looking cars on the road today

Thumbs Down: No insulated cover for the sunroof

Buy This Car If: You’re looking for style with a reasonable dose of performance and handling

As jaded auto journalists, it’s easy for us to find fault with nearly every car we’re given the keys to. Many strike us as underpowered, some have cramped interiors and others fail to deliver a driving experience on par with expectations. Every once in a while a car comes along that surprises us by exceeding our preconceived notions in almost every possible way. Such is the case with the slightly-restyled-for-2013 Audi A5 Coupe.
