eBay Deal of the Week: 1995 Ferrari 512M

1995_ferrari_512m_3

Even though it’s almost 20-years old this 1995 Ferrari 512M looks remarkably fresh. Maybe it’s because it only has a scant 5,427 miles on the clock, or maybe it’s because the 512M was the best of the Testarossa lineup. Built at the end of the Tesstarossa’s 12-year life cycle, the 512M benefited from some pretty special upgrades. The flip-up headlamps for example were now gone and replaced by more modern flush mounted units, while power output on the mid-mounted flat-12 engine was bumped to 432 hp and 369 lb.ft. of torque. This particular vehicle (number 57 of 75 worldwide) is currently for sale on eBay and is located in San Francisco, CA. It also looks to be in truly spectacular condition. eBay Deal of the Week: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split Window

Posted in Best of, Chevrolet, Corvette, Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, General, Promoted, Rants & Raves, Rides by MrAngry | March 4th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

1963 Chevrolet Corvette

What we have here is a nice driver quality 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split window coupe. One of the rarest Corvettes ever produced, the split window was available for one model year only. What I like about this ad is that the owner seems to be giving a very fair and honest description of the car. The Ermine white lacquer paint for instance is said to be in nice shape, but does have some cracking and the undercarriage, although clean, is not detailed. Equipped with a numbers matching 327 cu.in. V8, a Borg Warner T-10 4-speed and showing a very nice a red interior, this beautiful coupe is sure to stand out wherever it’s driven. The “buy it now” price is set at $65,000.00 U.S. which seems in line with other ’63 Corvettes on the market. So, if you’re interested you can click through to see a few more pics, or go directly to the eBay link below.

Posted in Best of, Dodge, Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, muscle cars, Promoted, Rants & Raves, Rides by MrAngry | February 25th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

1973DodgeDartSport_1

If you’re a Dodge fan then this may just be the perfect little car for you. This is a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport that would make the perfect starter MOPAR for those looking to get into the hobby. The recipient of a recent repaint in its original B5 blue, this Dart sports a 340 cu.in. V8, 904 transmission and an 8 3/4 rear-end with brand new 3.73 gears. A new vinyl top was also installed, along with a stripe kit, rear deck lid spoiler and hood scoop. The engine bay and interior look to be in meticulous condition thus giving this old Dart Sport some very serious curb appeal. The starting bid stands at $16,700.00, which may seem high. However I can assure you that it would be almost impossible to put something like this together for under that price point. eBay Deal of the Week: 1969 Plymouth Barracuda HEMI

Posted in Best of, Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, News, Plymouth, Promoted, Rants & Raves, Rides by MrAngry | February 18th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

1969 Plymouth Barracuda

When most muscle car enthusiasts think of the Plymouth Barracuda, they generally think of those models built between 1970-1974. I mean lets face it, in person they’re visually stunning machines and have been the most sought after by muscle car collectors the world over. The 1st and 2nd gen Barracuda’s built from 1964-1969 unfortunately get little respect, however it seems the one we found on eBay seeks to change that. Known as “SICFISH”, the 1969 Barracuda you see here has been treated to 200k (not a misprint) in upgrades by the builder. For starters this pro-stock lookalike packs a 604 CI 800 hp fuel-injected HEMI. Then there’s the fully customized interior, chassis and suspension. This is not some cobbled together project in someones garage, but an outstanding hot-rod that’s sure to provide the new owner with more excitement than they can possibly handle.

eBay Deal of the Week: 2008 Aston Martin Vanquish Replica

Posted in Aston Martin, Best of, eBay Motors, European Rides, General, Jaguar, News, Promoted, Rides by MrAngry | February 12th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

2008 Aston Martin Vanquish

Kit-cars, the bastard stepchildren of high-end exotics everywhere. From the iconic Ferrari 308 and Lamborghini Countach, to the Bentley Continental and Shelby Cobra, these cars do unfortunately fill a void in the automotive hobby. Most cars start out life as ill-fated Pontiac Fiero’s, but every now and again you come across one that’s actually pretty cool. Take for instance this 2008 Aston Martin Vanquish replica that’s currently for sale on eBay Motors. It started life as a 1998 Jaguar XK8 with a 300 hp 4.0L V8. From there all the body panels were stripped and the Aston kit was installed and painted matte black. Now granted, this car may not be for everyone, but as far as kit-cars go, it’s really not half bad. Click through for more pics and video after the jump.

2013 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club: RideLust Review

2013 Maxda MX-5 Miata Club

Thumbs Up: Still delivers razor-sharp handling and superb value

Thumbs Down: Long overdue for replacement

Buy This Car If: You prefer your affordable fun in topless form

Mazda’s MX-5 Miata, in its current form, dates back to the 2006 model year. That’s when the second generation of the world’s favorite sports car gave way to the current generation, dubbed “NC” in Miata-speak. Seven years is a long time to sell any model without significant changes, but the Mazda MX-5 Miata has one primary advantage: it’s outlived all of its competition. Read More…

eBay Deal of the Week: 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R

Posted in Best of, Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, Ford, muscle cars, Mustang, Promoted, Rants & Raves, Rides by MrAngry | February 5th, 2013 | 2 Responses |

2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R

Every now and then Ford pulls some magic out of that blue oval hat of theirs. I mean it’s no secret that they’ve got the ability to make wonderful cars, but when you’re main job is to pump out Fusions and Fiestas all day (great cars in their own right), it’s sometimes hard to build what you really want. Back in 2000 though the guys at SVT pumped out a Mustang that to this day, is still one of the coolest production track rats ever made. This is the Mustang Cobra R and until the BOSS 302 Laguna Seca was released in 2012, this Cobra R WAS the baddest Mustang you could buy. Hell, even buy today’s standards this sucker is a rock star. It pumps out 385 hp / 385 lb.ft. of torque, pulled over 1.0g on the skid pad, got to 60 mph in under 5.0 seconds and also came equipped with an independent rear suspension and Brembo brakes. The one you are viewing here is currently for sale on eBay where the current bid is $33,100.00. With only 500 miles on the odometer you can bet the price will only get higher as the bidding goes on as it’s one of the nicest examples I’ve seen to date.

2013 Acura ILX 2.4 Premium: RideLust Review

Posted in Acura, Car Reviews, Featured, Import Review, Promoted, RideLust Review by Kurt Ernst | February 4th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

2013 Acura ILX 2.4 Premium

Thumbs Up: Far more refined than its cousin, the Honda Civic Si

Thumbs Down: Navigation unavailable, average fuel economy

Buy This Car If: You’re looking for a commuter car that isn’t boring to drive

Had things gone according to plan, Acura’s ILX sedan would have been an instant success the moment it hit dealer showrooms, allowing Honda’s luxury brand to put the aging TSX sedan out to pasture. On paper, at least, the ILX delivers the goods: it’s available in models ranging from hybrid though sport-tuned, looks good and delivers a fair amount of content for the price. Acura even wrapped it in a slick ad campaign that said, effectively, dad would have bought this car if he hadn’t been burdened with the responsibility of a family first. We weren’t sure what it meant, either, but then again we’re not exactly in the ILX’s target demographic. Read More…

eBay Deal of the Week: 1964 Lincoln Continental

1964 Lincoln Continental

When you think of modified muscle, cars like the Camaro, Charger and perhaps even the Nova come to mind. A 1964 Lincoln Continental though – that one’s a bit of a stretch. There are however those who would disagree with me and in fact I’ve found one such owner on eBay.com. What you are viewing is perhaps the most tricked out 1964 Lincoln Continental in existence. From the full Air-Ride suspension to the supercharged 351 Windsor V8 that’s been stroked to 427 cubic inches, this old Lincoln is truly a sight to behold. Famously known for its suicide doors, the 1964 Lincoln is one of those rare cars that is an icon of the automotive world. This one in particular, clad in cherry black paint, really stands out and is a machine that I think anyone would be proud to own.

eBay Deal of the Week: 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500

Posted in Best of, Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, Promoted, Rants & Raves, Rides, Shelby by MrAngry | January 21st, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

1968 Shelby GT500

As one of the most famous cars in history, the 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500 is a car that needs no introduction. Powered by a 428ci Police Interceptor V-8 rated at 360hp, this was a car that not only gave owners substantial amounts of performance, but provided them with a fair bit of luxury as well. The following GT-500 comes to us from Southampton, New York and is in stunning condition both inside and out. Options include and automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and one repaint in the cars original Sunlit Gold color that occurred in 2006. Obviously one of the most sought after collector cars out there, this is a vehicle that all Shelby enthusiasts should be interested in.
