1993DodgeRamcharger_1

Now here’s something you don’t see everyday – a 1993 Dodge Ramcharger 4×4. From the mid-1970′s to the mid-1990′s full sized SUV’s were in charge of the off-road market. Sure there were vehicles like the smaller Jeep Cherokee, but if you wanted a big, bad-ass truck that still had a set of man balls strapped to it, then these were your rides. The Dodge Ramcharger was never as popular as say the Ford Bronco, or Chevy’s K5 Blazer, however for the ones that were sold, these were beautiful looking trucks. This particular truck sports a 5.2L V8 (318), has a 4-speed automatic transmission with O/D and 4WD. It features power steering, power brakes, front and rear trailer hitch, power windows, power locks, newer tires, lift gate, towing package, trailer brakes, ABS, working AC and is finished in red over a tan interior. 1993 also marked the last year that the Ramcharger saw development, which is a shame, since this really is a good looking vehicle.

eBay Deal of the Week: Ferrari 288 GTO Recreation

Posted in eBay Motors, European Rides, Ferrari, Promoted, Rides by MrAngry | June 10th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

Ferrari 288 GTO

Now this is a recreation that I’d gladly put in my garage. This is a 1976 Ferrari 308 base model that’s been painstakingly transformed into a Ferrari 288 GTO, sans the twin-turbo V8. The original 224 hp DOHC V8 engine is still in place with four tuned Weber carburetors feeding it fuel. The front and rear fenders have been flared and new wheels help give this old Ferrari a very sinister look. The interior has also been redone to a level that is nothing short of spectacular. Now here’s something you don’t see everyday, a 1984 Dodge Colt that’s been converted into a street legal bumper car. A fiberglass body covers the Colt’s original 156,550 mile chassis, while the 1.6L Turbo 4-cylinder gets around 34 mpg. It’s also been treated to a new timing belt, water pump and idler pulleys, new a/c compressor and hoses (don’t know why though since it’s got no top), AND two new front tires. There’s also a neat little cockpit cover to protect this little gem from the elements when parked. Check out more pics by clicking through, or go directly to the eBay ad below.

A few weeks ago I was down at Cars & Coffee in Los Angeles, CA. This is a gathering that occurs every weekend and brings with it some of the greatest cars ever produced. Aside from such things as the odd new McLaren, Ferrari 458s and old muscle cars, one car in particular really stood out. It was a 1988 Lamborghini Countach like the one you are viewing here. This is a car that has the capacity to basically stop people in their tracks. It’s wedge shape is iconic and even though the car is now 25 years old, it’s stood the test of time incredibly well. This particular car went through a major service in 2005 totaling a whopping $40,908 and according to the seller, is ready to go. eBay Deal of the Week: 1979 Pontiac Trans Am

Stunning silver paint, T-tops, turbo style wheels, and a big screaming chicken on the hood. These were the basic elements of the 10th Anniversary 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This is about as “in your face” as an American car could get in 1979. The second generation Trans Am, made famous by movies like “Cannonball” and “Smokey and the Bandit” is one of those rare cars that adolescent dreams were made of. Power came from a 400 cubic-inch V8 that was coupled to a 4-Speed transmission. With 220 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque this was no stump puller, however they did handle well if equipped with the WS6 suspension package. The one you are viewing here has a mere 11,500 miles on the clock from new and comes with a very high “Buy it Now” price tag of $43,995.00. If however you’re looking to relive some of your old glory days from the 1970′s, well then, this may just be the best chance you’re ever going to get. 1970BuickGS350_3

This is one of those rare cars that has a reserved spot in my fantasy garage. It’s a 1970 Buick Skylark GS and to me, it’s the perfect example of a gentleman’s muscle car. From the bucket seats, to the beautiful center console with eight-track deck, air conditioning and fully-optioned factory dash, this is a car that I’d probably turn into a daily driver. The one you are viewing here is currently for sale on eBay Motors and looks to be in fantastic condition with 65,000 miles on the clock, AND the original build sheet. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find, so make sure to check out the eBay ad at the link below or click through for more pics.

eBay Deal of the Week: 1971 Dodge Charger R/T

1971ChargerRT_1

It’s only been within the last 10 years or so that love for the 3rd generation Dodge Charger has gone public. Most gravitate to the 2nd gen models built between 1968-1970, however now, ’71-’74 models are slowly gaining ground. What you are viewing this morning is a very highly optioned 1971 Dodge Charger R/T. With options like the rare Chrysler cassette player, air-grabber hood and bucket seats, this old Charger is something that’s sure to turn heads everywhere it goes. The car is said to have gone through a complete restoration, however the ad doesn’t state when or who did it. Regardless though, the car does appear to be flawless. eBay Deal of the Week: 1985 Mercury Capri GS

Posted in Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, General, Mercury, muscle cars, Mustang, Promoted, Rants & Raves, Rides by MrAngry | April 22nd, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

1985MercuryCapriGS_1

My first car was a 1981 Mercury Capri. It had four different tires, a wee-tiny 4-cylinder engine and one blown speaker in the center of the dash that was connected to a stock AM only radio. The car was a total shit-box, but to me it was the greatest thing ever. Unfortunately I ended up crashing it soon after I got it, but for some odd reason I still miss it. Now obviously in the mid-1980′s the Mustang GT 5.0 was the King of the block, however if you were a bit sly, you would’ve opted for the Mercury Capri GS. It packed the same 5.0L mill as the Mustang, but came equipped with a wicked bull-nose front end and an awesome aero-style hatchback. The one you are seeing here is bone stock, has a mere 29,000 miles on the clock and if I had the money I would’ve purchased it by now. These old fox bodies are becoming harder and harder to find in stock shape, so if you’re smart, you’ll scoop this sucker up immediately!

1962Porsche356_1

The Porsche 356 is one of those rare cars that has the ability to put a smile on the face of all those who view it. By today’s standards these cars are considered to be “cute”, but when first released back in the late 1940′s they were at the pinnacle of the performance envelope. This particular car is a 1962 Porsche 356 B Super cabriolet, and it’s one of the more striking cars we’ve come across. Finished in its original factory? Smyrna green paint over brown leather seats, visually the car is just stunning. It’s also one of the more documented 356′s out there. Having covered 125,000 miles and still retaining the original tool kit with Porsche-inscribed wrenches, this is a car that is sure to make a perfect addition to any Porsche collection.
