1994 BMW M5, Mercedes 6.9, Audi S8

These are probably the best car chases to come out of Hollywood in the last 20 years. They’re fast and raw with some killer camera work. Plus the cars they use are stellar choices. I mean really, an Audi S8, BMW M5 and Mercedes Benz 6.9, these are the big guns of the worlds Super-Sedans.

2. Short Time: 1990

1980 Dodge Diplomat

Short Time came out in 1990 and stars Dabney Coleman as a cop who just found out that due to a medical condition he’s going to die in a short time… get it… Short Time. Anyway, in order for his family to collect his pension he needs to die in the line of duty. The movie is not that well known, but the chase scene is actually a lot of fun to watch, so sit back, relax and enjoy the next 8:11.

3. Tomorrow Never Dies: 1997

1997 BMW 750i

Take one BMW 750i, add a bit of James Bond and a really cool remote control doohickey and you’ve got a great bit of automotive carnage.

4. The Fifth Element: 1998

Futuristic Taxi Cab

The Fifth Element is an action-comedy, techno thriller directed by Luc Besson. I have to say that the man has one vivid imagination. The car chase scene takes place between a futuristic Taxi driven by Bruce Willis and a few futuristic police cars. Just envision a Chevy Caprice and Ford Crown Victoria 230 years in the future and you’ll get the idea.

5. The Rock: 1996

Hummer, Ferrari 355

Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery star in this return to Alcatraz flick, that pits an H1 Hummer against a Ferrari 355 Spyder as they rip through the streets of San Francisco. One thing that always amazes me about 90’s car chases, is that the cars sustain absolutely no damage. How is this possible? It’s kinda’ like the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard. That big tomato jumped over everything in Hazzard County and never got one dent… it’s simply mystifying.

6. Striking Distance: 1993

1980’s Chevy Caprice / 1980’s Ford Crown Victoria

Once again we’ve got Bruce Willis as a cop trying to catch the bad guys. This time however, he’s got his old man in the car who’s also a cop and shows amazing composure throughout the entire chase seen. He must really be confident in his Son’s driving ability to be so damned relaxed. I’d be screaming like a four year old boy if I was in that thing.

7. Terminator 2: Judgement Day: 1991

Grumman Box Van / Helicopter

Here we have James Cameron shooting another one of his multi-ba-billion dollar blockbusters. We’ve got Arnold on a Harley Road King, little Eddie Furlong on a Kawasaki dirt bike and Robert Patrick rolling heavy in a Peterbilt. Combine all these elements together and you’ve got the makings of a great car chase.

8. Lethal Weapon 3: 1992

1987 Ford F-250 / 1984 Kawasaki Police 1000

This was Mel Gibson when he was still famous – you know before he decided to hate the Jews. Back then he was also a fan of chasing cars on foot, although I’m not exactly sure why. In this scene, aside from utilizing his Puma’s, he also uses a subway car and motorcycle. Hey, at least he’s branching out.

9. Die Hard With a Vengeance: 1995

Mercedes 560 SEL / Dodge Ram 1500

Wow! Bruce Willis was just everywhere in the 90’s wasn’t he? He’s been in 3 chases so far. In Die Hard With a Vengeance he’s actually running from the baddies in a stolen (well, he stole it) Mercedes Benz, while being chased by a big ole’ Dodge pick-up truck through Central Park. The conclusion is somewhat predictable, but that doesn’t stop it from being a great car chase.

10. Freejack: 1992

Chevy S-10 Pick-up / Armored personal carrier

This chase made the list simply because I think Mick Jagger is hilarious when he acts. Emilio Estevez plays a race car driver who was brought into the future so that his body could be used as a surrogate for someone else. Problem is, he’s not quite done with it, so he’s on the run with Microphone Mick hot on his trail.

No, it’s not the Deathmobile used in the movie, but who’s going to know? You’ll need to add your own smoke generators, but that sounds like a fun Saturday afternoon project to me. The best part? It’s got a “Buy It Now” price of just $12,500. For less than the cost of a new Corolla, you can be rolling in style as you scare the crap out of the neighbors.

1.	The Blues Brothers: 1980

1974 Dodge Monaco

“It’s got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It’s got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It’s a model made before catalytic converters so it’ll run good on regular gas”

Believe it or not this car chase was one of the last really gritty car chases made. Oddly enough, this chase was actually supposed to be a spoof of what a great car chase should be and ended up being one of the best ones ever filmed. It also destroyed over 60 used police cars and made the “Bluesmobile” a movie icon.

2.	Cannonball Run: 1981

1979 Lamborghini Countach LP 400 / 1981 Pontiac Trans Am

Just listen to that Lamborghini Countach rev… OH MY GOD!! That sound to a car guy is like crack to a drug addict. The 1981 Pontiac Trans Am unfortunately wouldn’t have had a snowballs chance in hell of keeping up with the big Lambo… but who cares? It’s one of the best movie openings ever for a car guy, plus you had Adrienne Barbeau constantly showing off her “Equipment“…

3.	The Road Warrior: 1981

1979 Mac Truck / 1976 Ford F-150

Part I

Part II

By the time this chase took place the much-loved V8 Interceptor had been destroyed. So, armed with his handy-dandy sawed off shot gun, Max rigged up this Mac Truck and blasted through the Australian desert in a last ditch effort to get away from the Lord Humungous… he’s awesome by the way. All in all there are probably thirty or so vehicles in this chase and every one of them, at some point, gets f*cked up. This is vehicular carnage at its best.

4. Terminator: 1984

1973 Chevrolet C-10 / 1972 International Harvester

He was big, bad and made of metal, this was the Govinator in “Terminator”, the movie that made him a star. The closing sequence in the film consisted of a chase between a ’73 Chevy step-side, a ’75 Honda CB750 motorcycle and a 1972 International Harvester tractor-trailer. Odd combination, but shot together in the right sequence and it works out just fine.

5. Against All Odds: 1984

1983 Porsche 911sc / 1982 Ferrari 308 GTS

More of a car race than a car chase, it qualifies because they were actually chasing each other. Take one part 1983 Porsche 911 and the other a Ferrari 1982 308 GTS and what you’ve got is a race to show who had the biggest winky in Los Angeles.

6. To Live and Die in LA: 1985

1981 Chevrolet Impala / 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis

One of the best ever filmed – the chase, not the movie. Most people don’t even remember this flick, but everyone who saw it certainly remembers the car chase and the fact that it was over 8 minutes long. I’ll tell ya’, those mid-‘80s Chevy’s were tough as nails…

7. Shaker Run: 1985

1980 Pontiac Trans Am / 1978 Ford Capri

The plot on this one is somewhat convoluted, but in a nutshell – there is this Dude, Cliff Roberts, whose a stunt driver and he’s been paid some moola’ to take this chick whose heisted some plutonium or some other nuclear type stuff and get it out of the country. Roberts drives a right-hand drive 1980 Pontiac Trans Am, that’s pink… yes pink, and on their way out of the country they get chased by some other Dude in a black station wagon type thingy who wants his plutonium stuff back… but that Dude crashes it… you know, the wagon thingy and steals a hopped up Ford Capri out of a showroom in the city they were in… I don’t know what city it is though. He then chases the pink the T/A through the mountains and tries to catch him.

There, that’s the plot… now press play and watch the damn video.

8. No Man’s Land: 1987

1985 Porsche 911 / 1985 IROC Camaro

Professional Porsche thief Charlie Sheen recruits undercover cop D.B. Sweeny to help him steel more Porsches to cut and sell. This chase takes place between a 1985 911 Turbo and ’85 IROC (one of my 20 BAD ASS collectible cars for under 20k). There’s also a 1978 Lincoln Mark V… but he doesn’t fair too well in the end.

9. Cobra: 1986

1950 Mercury / 1979 Ford F-150

“You’re the disease… and I’m the cure”; probably one of the cheesiest one-liners ever to appear on film. Sly Stallone is a cop whose trying to save Bridget Nielsen (when she was hot) from some bad guys. It’s a typical 80’s car chase that turns out to be quite entertaining. My favorite part is that tach at 3:14… it’s reving at like 8500 rpms!!

10. Risky Business: 1983

1976 Porsche 928 / 1976 Cadillac De Ville

<object width="425 height="344">

Ah yes… who can forget the subway scene with Rebecca DeMornay – as a kid it didn’t get any better. That was until Joel, Becky and Booger got chased by Guido the Killer Pimp in his pimp-o-licious ’76 Cadillac DeVille. The end of this chase coined the phrase: “Porsche… there is no substitute”.

Bullitt, released in 1968, is sometimes credited with the car chase boom of the 70s

For those of you around back then, the 70’s were awesome. We had bell-bottoms, disco and the Pontiac Trans Am. We were also inundated with the 70’s style car chase. You see, in the 1970’s they would generally use the same car throughout the entire chase scene. If directors could, they would try to get away with using only one car for a more authentic look and feel. Damage that occurred during filming could now be seen throughout the entire chase. These were filmed before computers, high end editing software and product placement. The results are some of the best car chases ever captured on film.

1. Vanishing Point: 1970

1970 Dodge Challenger

Kowalski. He was an ex-motorcycle racer, ex-racecar driver and ex-cop who’s all hopped up on speed (the drugs, not MPH). His job? Transport a supercharged 1970 Dodge Challenger to someone else in the movie who is not in any way important. There is also a naked chick on a motorcycle whose kinda’ hot.

2. The French Connection: 1971

1971 Pontiac LeMans

It’s Gene Hackman, a 1971 Pontiac LeMans and an elevated subway platform in the boroughs of NY. It was also the first rated “R” movie to win an Academy Award for Best Picture… go figure.

3. Fear is the Key: 1972 – Part 1

1972 Ford Gran Torino

Barry Newman, who plays Kowalski in “Vanishing Point” is back, but this time driving a 1972 Ford Gran Torino. He plays Talbot, a Dude who’s searching for the answers that will lead to the hopeful capture of his family’s murderers.

On a sad note, the entire movie is actually crap, but the chase makes it worth checking out.

4. The Seven-Up’s: 1973

1973 Pontiac Ventura

Very similar to “The French Connection”, but this time it’s Roy Scheider (Jaws) and a 1973 Pontiac Ventura. This is very close to the 1971 Pontiac LeMans that Hackman drove in the above. You know in hindsight, they probably could have just named this movie “The French Connection II: Cops Who Drive Pontiac’s”, although I’m not sure if that’s Oscar worthy.

5. White Lightning: 1973

1971 Ford LTD

<param name="movie" value=http://www.youtube.com/v/VS5X_45_JLg&hl=en_US&fs=1& alt=”White Lightening”>

Burt Reynolds plays an ex-moonshiner who’s all pissed off because Ned Beatty shot and killed his younger brother. This flick is actually the prequel to another movie called “Gator”, that takes place a few years down the line. Reynolds however drives a boat in that one. I mean that’s cool an all, but this one’s better… trust me.

6. McQ: 1974

1971 Cadilliac DeVille / 1970 Plymouth Satellite

Ok, this is not the best car chase in the movie. The best one had to do with a 1972 Pontiac Trans Am, but I couldn’t find it anywhere so you guys are getting this one. It’s the second best chase in the movie and takes place on a beach, which is nice, because most people love the beach.

7. Dirty Mary Crazy Larry: 1974

1969 Dodge Charger / 1972 Dodge Polara

Great Movie Car Chases – Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry | Movies & TV | SPIKE.com

You’ve got a 1969 Dodge Charger (BOOYA!), a U-boat sized ’72 Dodge Polara cop car and a helicopter that’s being flown by a REALLY tweaked county Sheriff. This chase is often over looked, but is seriously one of the coolest ever done.

8. Blazing Magnum: 1976

1971 Ford Mustang / 1969 Buick Special

Ok, I’ll say it, this movie sucked. Basic plot: A Police Captain searches for the people who murdered his little sister… bla… bla… bla. HOWEVER, there is a bitchen’ car chase that goes back to what I said in the beginning of this post in regards to the amount of damage that the cars take – that alone makes it worth watching.

9. The Driver: 1978

1974 Chevy C-10 Stepside / 1974 Pontiac Trans Am

<param name="movie" value=http://www.youtube.com/v/wNh3G8qodCQ&hl=en_US&fs=1& alt=”The Driver”>

So, have you guys guessed what this movie is about yet? No… well then, I can’t help ya’. Just hit the play button and enjoy Ryan O’Neal flinging around a pretty hairy Chevy Stepside pick-up.

10. Smokey & the Bandit 1977

1977 Trans Am / 1977 Pontiac LeMans

<param name="movie" value=http://www.youtube.com/v/xnRwQjTYfGI&hl=en_US&fs=1& alt=”Smokey and the Bandit”>

I will not lie ladies and gentleman, this is my favorite movie of all time next to the Cannonball Run. Its one-liners, car chases and ridiculous plot constitute about 2-hrs. of pure hilarity. It has also got Burt Reynolds and Jackie Gleason. For those of you young guys who haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and get this classic, two hour long, Trans Am commercial.

I FORGOT ONE… SHIT! I hate when I do that… anyway, here it is. The chase scene from the original “MAD MAX” in 1979. This is where Max Rockatanski was born.

Yo’ Samsquanch – DUUUDE… thanks for pointing that out man.

There is simply no way to properly introduce Bullitt.

For those who have seen it, you already understand why it’s so good: the gritty depiction of San Fransisco’s underbelly, the mystery, the drama, and quite possibly the greatest car chase scene of all time between a ‘68 fastback Mustang and a menacing black Charger. For the rest of you, you indeed have my sympathies.

Following the jump, there is a brilliant, albeit short, 10 minute video giving you a behind the scenes look at how Bullitt was brought to life in Steve McQueen’s image. The thing to remember about this movie is the fact that it was made in the pursuit of portraying reality–the dark, dirty, uncanny truth within the story. The chase scenes were real, having predated CGI and special effects technology. The locations were real, such as the architect studio where McQueen’s on screen girlfriend worked, and even some of the “actors” weren’t actors at all–such as the hospital scene, portrayed by real surgeons and nurses.

If you’ve already seen the movie, you’ll probably get more out of the video than those who haven’t. But who knows, this just might whet your palette enough to get you off your ass and into Blockbuster.

There’s also the epic car chase scene included for your enjoyment and drooling purposes.

Taking a page of out of Citroen/Sony’s book, Chevy unveiled the 2010 Chevy Camaro TRANSFORMERS Edition today at Comic Con in San Diego. Finished in Bumblebee’s subtle yellow paint scheme, the 2010 TRANSFORMERS Camaro is offered as an upgrade package for Camaro LT and SS models and can be included with the optional RS appearance package. The total cost of the TRANSFORMation (sorry, we couldn’t resist) is only $995 and comes with the AUTOBOT® shield tastefully branded on the side panels, wheel caps, and interior console. Perhaps feeling as though that alone was a touch too understated, GM also embossed the Transformers logo onto the door sill plates and the hood bump.

Beneath Hasbro’s elegantly crafted handiwork, the Camaro’s real selling point remains unchanged. The LT’s 3.6L V6 still cranks out 304 horsepower (227 kW) and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, while the SS continues to offer 2 high-powered performance options to match your driving ability (or lack thereof). For legitimate fanboys, the 6-speed manual-equipped SS comes with the 6.8L V8 LS3 engine, producing 426 horsepower (318 kW) and 420 lb.-ft. of torque (569 Nm). For the fanboys’ sister, the LS3 is swapped in favor of the 400 horsepower (298 kW) and 410 lb.-ft. of torque (556 Nm) L99 V-8, which is necessary in order to accommodate the Sissy -erm- Six-speed automatic transmission.

We say: go big or go home – spring for the SS.

Superclass watchmaker TAG Heuer recently took some footage of Steve McQueen from his 1971 classic film Le Mans and awkwardly stuffed it into a commercial so they could pit him against the current F1 champ, Lewis Hamilton. It was interesting to see McQueen go head-to-head with Hamilton, but all the ad really did was make me want to watch the original film.

So keeping with the Ridelust tradition of bringing you the finest automotive cinema (The Italian Machine and C’était un Rendez-Vous), here’s the 1971 Steve McQueen classic in it’s entirety… Le Mans:

Just like some revolutionaries from a couple hundred years ago who froze their asses mostly to death one winter in nearby Valley Forge, modern-day agitators against the regime of boredom currently gripping the suburbs of Philadelphia have adopted guerrilla entertainment tactics to fight back. We’re not talking about killing Hessians on Christmas – we’re talking here about Guerrilla Drive-In, the secret entertainment phenomenon that beams its revolutionary propaganda right from the sidecar of a BMW R100/7 motorcycle!!! Want to see Repo Man in a junkyard with strangers? This could be the ticket!

The Macguffin!

Of course, if you want to find out where to show up, you need to establish contact with the guerrilla’s pirate radio station. Says the GDI organizers from their revolutionary website:

“The MacGuffin is an AM transmitter, wired to an ex-Retropod Sony Sports Walkman, playing a continuous-loop answering machine cassette, all stuffed inside a weatherproof Pelican case. The MacGuffin broadcasts a short message on AM 1700. The message contains the secret access code you need to find out where and when Guerilla Drive-In movies will be shown.”

Almost makes you want to go to West Chester, PA, to check it out, huh?

1. Tom Sepe’s Whirlygig Emoto

Boiler is aft of the seat.

First up is Tom Sepe’s “Whirligig Emoto.” Crafted out of ‘67 Tote-Gote scooter and packing a 15kW electric motor, a steam generator, and an unknown quantity of brass applique, this two-wheeler fits the bill for anyone looking to recreate an Akira-style biker gang with steampunk bikes.

This one gets our Anachronistic Seal of Approval for being electric, producing superfluous steam, and sliding around in the video below in true steampunk-hoon style. And for more on the build, see Mr. Sepe’s website.

2. Chicara Nagata’s Motorcycles

No boiler but we approve nonetheless.

Our own Vito dug this amazing find up not too long ago, and we simply couldn’t leave them out. While many in the steampunk world like making things on their own, Mr. Chicara takes the craftsperson angle to a whole ‘nother level. The “1939″ Chicara above, for example, uses an authentic ‘39 Harley-Davidson U-motor, along with other period parts, combined in a unique and beautiful way.

<img src="http://www.ridelust.com/wp-content/uploads/1966-500x250.jpg" alt="<i>The 1966 moped.
Of course, the price reflects that – each of Chicara’s unique creations sells for a cool million USD. Still, if you have that kind of dough to throw around, we’re sure you could work with the artist to produce a steam-powered model out of oak.

3. Leyat Helica

It sure LOOKS steampunk!

Steampunk objects are usually a fusion of something modern, and something old. The Helica is just plain old – it was steampunk before you even needed to mix-n-match temporal categories. Both technologically advanced and also strangely carriage-looking, the Helica seems to have sprung from an alternate reality where having a whirling propeller motivate your vehicle seemed like a good idea.

Almost looks like it could float, too.

That being said, you have to give Msr. Marcel Leyat some credit despite his bad timing. Had he lived long enough to see Burning Man, he might have sold these as desert runabouts to the sunburned masses.

4. Il Tempo Gigante

This is a full-size replica of Il Tempo Gigante, the star of the completely nonsensical film Flåklypa Grand Prix. It was built to promote the movie, which apparently became the most successful Norwegian film of all time (in Norway), playing in theaters for 28 years. Not exactly an Oscar contender. Il Tempo Gigante (The Big Time?) was an enormous brass car with two engines of appropriately indeterminate make. At nearly 22 feet long and covered with all sorts of piping and nonfunctional flair, this would be welcomed to any steampunk art show or peyote-eating session in the world.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, no useful details about the real life vehicle exist. Perhaps that’s for the best, as the creators of this insane but decidedly steampunk-esque vehicle were likely eating some psychotropic herring at the time.

[Source: Some crazy Norwegians.]

5. Legway: The Steampunk Segway

The future of personal transportation from yesterday!

This made its way around the Internet a while back but it’s worth including on our list today because, well, it never fails to make us laugh. Both brilliant and almost completely impractical, it also oozes with steampunk style. Just look at the thing! Impossible to turn, slower and more difficult than walking, and though it’s very existence a biting piece of social commentary. Good work sir, good work.

Instant steampunk cred.

Plus, as its creator says, it’s actually “green” – no pollutants for all you eco-conscious steampunkers out there. Unless you count the inevitable blood on the pavement as a pollutant. Check out the video below as its creator miraculously doesn’t fall flat on his face immediately.

6. The Neverwas Haul

Holy pith helmets, Batman!

Completely insane. It’s a Victorian house on wheels. Clearly the product of altered mind states, or simply lots of wood and Red Bull, this creation of The Berkeley Academy of Unnatural Sciences could only have been created for one purpose: to be the best Burning Man vehicle of all time. Fair to say, it’s succeeded.

Words cannot describe the insanity.

No word on how many rooms there are, what they contain, or how on earth the entire thing holds itself together, but we’re guessing magic is involved. Steam-based magic. Power (or should we say lack thereof) is provided by an anemic 10 HP 1 cylinder diesel motor, but the Neverwas Haul has been spotted being, ahem, hauled by vintage steam-driven tractors.

Plus you can rent it for weddings or haunted houses! How cool is that? Just bring goggles and a sense of whimsy!

7. Neverwas Haul’s Steam Runabout

It slices, it dices, it steams your hotdogs!

As sweet as the Neverwas Haul is, their runabout is just as cool. Born in ‘06, this little beast runs on propane firing a Lamont-type boiler to produce steam at about 100PSI. We assume the steam whistle is so that pedestrians using their wooden iPhones or wrought-iron Blackberries don’t get crushed under those unforgiving carriage wheels. No word on top speed, and the tricycle undercarriage likely produces pretty poor skidpad numbers, but it’s a cruiser, not a driver. See it in action at the video below:

Plus, it’ll make you a mean hotdog! Note that the preferred nomenclature here is “Steam Bohemian,” not steampunk. Treat them nice and they may make you one.

8. The Brass Lion

Need to bike in a charity event but have a bad back and need a steampunk aesthetic? We might have the bike for you! It has everything a discerning anachronistic biker would need in a recumbent cycle – elk-hide wrapped controls, working kerosene coach lamps, and a trunk (an actual trunk) for your long-distance jaunts.

<img src="http://www.ridelust.com/wp-content/uploads/coach-lamps-lit-on-steampunk-bike-500x445.jpg" alt="<i>The coachlamps are ignited! Ready for the foggy London night.

Steuben’s Wheelmen (Eric and Alan) are the creators of this awesome beast, and it gets points for looking very cool but also maintaining a high degree of functionality. Maybe sweet trikes like this will replace those asinine fixie-style machines so popular these days.

9. The Hubbard Steamcycle

Built as a one-off from a ‘56 Maico and converted to steam power (yes, steam power) by one Bud Hubbard of Connecticut in the early 70s, this is almost ur-steampunk in both construction and cool factor. The best part is, despite the late build date, Mr. Hubbard was using plans dating back from 1918!!!

All the mechanicals were hand-made by Bud himself, and he thankfully used a lot of brass rather than a less showy metal. It makes about 6 HP, runs at nearly 700 PSI of superheated steam, and is able to run for around 2 hours with the condenser installed.

[Source: CAMA]

10. Jake von Slatt’s Victorian Bus

The bus' Grande Salon.

Mr. von Slatt is one resourceful dude. After scrounging up this ‘89 Thomas Saf-t-Liner retired school bus for around $2000, he gutted it and turned it into a Victorian-themed motorhome. It gets the steampunk nod for several reasons: first, it’s a Victorian RV! Secondly, Mr. von Slatt’s website led me to a lot of these finds, so credit where credit’s due.

Woodwork and ironplating to come?

Certainly his ride might have the most wrought-iron-clad-cojones here, with a 10.4 liter CAT diesel making around 400 ft-lbs of torque. While it won’t win any drag races, when the boiler goes out or your dirigible needs a tow, this bus might be the one to call.

He got nearly everything inside from the dump.

Students enrolled in a unique degree program at a southeastern Michigan community college are building an “Eleanor” tribute car to benefit charity. With the help of Chip Foose, Dynacorn and Roush Performance, students taking automotive restoration and customization coursework at Washtenaw Community College will finish the car in advance of an October drawing to benefit the Salvation Army of Washtenaw County and the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.

If work done by previous students is any indication, the 1967 Shelby tribute vehicle should be well worth the $15 tickets being sold for a chance to own this new car. The top students from WCC’s Automotive Services department participate in the Custom Cars and Concepts program, which has created a series of award-winning customized vehicles in the past few years, including a 1964 Chevrolet Impala 409 convertible that was chosen for the prestigious Riddler Row at Autorama. Their newest project is a 1967 Ford Mustang GT500 fastback, based on the famed “Eleanor” car seen in both the original and the remake of the classic car movie “Gone in 60 Seconds.”
The then-completed car will be on display at WCC’s annual campus car show in early October, where a drawing will be held to determine its new owner. In addition to the car, the winner will receive a trip in early November to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, where the car will be showcased. Click here, for more information.
