
When Mike and I road test cars, we drive a lot of bread-and-butter sedans and crossovers. Every once in a while we get something particularly interesting, like a Cadillac CTS-V, a Dodge Viper or a Shelby GT500; we don’t ever get tuners asking us to try their latest wares in exchange for some free press (hint: our answer would be “yes”). In that regard, Matt Farah is different from Mike and I, since he has the uncanny ability to get his hands on the tastiest of automotive treats. Take the latest episode of The Smoking Tire, for example: Matt drives the VF Engineering tuned Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-5 on one of the finest (and hence, secret) roads in California, It’s got 234 turns in just 26 miles of road, which is more turns than you’ll find in the entire state of Florida.
