A few weeks ago I was down at Cars & Coffee in Los Angeles, CA. This is a gathering that occurs every weekend and brings with it some of the greatest cars ever produced. Aside from such things as the odd new McLaren, Ferrari 458s and old muscle cars, one car in particular really stood out. It was a 1988 Lamborghini Countach like the one you are viewing here. This is a car that has the capacity to basically stop people in their tracks. It’s wedge shape is iconic and even though the car is now 25 years old, it’s stood the test of time incredibly well. This particular car went through a major service in 2005 totaling a whopping $40,908 and according to the seller, is ready to go. If you’re interested in owning a piece of automotive history then don’t hesitate and click through to view more pics.

The upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder has been the topic of debate for quite some time now and it’s not even on the road. The worlds first super car hybrid, the Spyder is said to pump out 887 hp and handle like no other road car that Porsche has ever built. Chris Harris of Youtube’s DRIVE Network recently had a chance (although a short one), to not only drive the new 918 Spyder, but do get up close and personal with the engineers behind it. Check it out after the jump.

These are some the greatest entertainers from the 1960′s, ’70s and ’80s and how they were all coaxed into making this film is way beyond me. This is The Cannonball Run, and if you consider yourself a car guy and haven’t watched this movie, well, turn in your membership card because all hope is lost. Also, if you’re young, and by that I mean under 30, do yourself a favor and check it out. It’s worth it, I promise.

Alex Chacon is the owner of a Kawasaki KLR 650, a motorcycle that is one of the best dual-sports in existence. It’s not overly fast, nor is it packed full of technology. Instead this is a machine that is simple to work on and as about as bulletproof as Ford Knox. That may explain why Alex decided to choose it as his stallion of choice when he embarked on an adventure that took him 503 days, through 22 countries and covering more than 82,450 miles (not a misprint). The Modern Motorcycle Diaries is almost guaranteed to be the best thing you watch today, so set aside 10-minutes somewhere, grab an icy beverage and click play.

It’s as much a part of the Fast and Furious franchise as any of the main characters, and has been in all but 2 of the 6 installments. It’s Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger, and although it gets destroyed during each go-round, movie magic has proven that this old Dodge has more lives then any cat you’ve ever come to know and love. For the Fast and Furious 6, the Charger is once again, back. However this time it’s been reincarnated as a highly modified 1969 Dodge Daytona, the pinnacle of the Chargers evolution. Logic dictates that using a Daytona was the next step for the Charger, however now my curiosity is really peaked as I’m wondering what’s going to show up in F&F 7…

Two, it’s underpowered and slow. Crawford Performance seeks to cure this by offering a package that not only doubles the BRZ’s horsepower, but TRIPLES it’s torque!
Sometimes with cars and motorcycles getting back to basics is the best thing you can do. Take Triumphs new Scrambler 900 for example. A no frills motorcycle that gives the rider everything they need, and nothing they don’t. With 58 hp and 50 lb-ft of torque, the 900 has plenty of power to get you up and rolling, while at the same time, providing one with a bike that’s one of the nicest nostalgia rides we’ve come across in quite some time. Host Jamie Robinson gives us a little insight into just what makes this new Scrambler so special.

It’s no secret that Dodge has had a long standing relationship with the Fast and the Furious movie franchise. From Dom’s 1970 Charger to the new Challengers and other Dodge products, Chrysler is banking on the fact that the F&F will continue to help bolster brand recognition with automotive enthusiasts throughout the world. The new film, Fast & Furious 6 is no exception and continues this tradition by incorporating some new Alfa Romeos into the action. Ralph Gilles, SRT CEO sits down for the cameras to tell us about the ins-and-outs of this relationship.
