It feels as though it’s been far too long since we’ve seen Jerry Seinfeld being funny. In fact, ever since “Seinfeld” ended back in 1998, it seems as though America’s favorite comedian has seemingly vanished. Now however it seems Mr. Jerry is back shilling for Acura and their upcoming NSX super car, which is actually quite amazing since he’s so closely associated with Porsche (he owns like 50 of them). Regardless though it’s just nice to see Jerry back in action doing what he does best – making people laugh.

There are some commercials that make you giggle, others that wow you, and yet others that simply get it right and cover all of the above. This is Toyota’s spot for their new “reinvented” 2012 Camry that will air during this weekend’s Super Bowl and in my opinion they hit it clean out of the park. By the way, I’m totally digging the reinvented couch – female version of course! Oh, and the baby time machine it bitching as well.

26 years ago a movie directed by John Hughes changed the way kids around the world cut school. It was titled “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and starred Matthew Broderick as the world’s greatest middle finger to high school faculty everywhere. Almost three decades have gone by and thanks to Honda we now find out that not only has Ferris grown up, but he drives a new Honda CR-V. Now sure it’s a far cry from Cameron’s Dad’s Ferrari, and while some may say that Ferris has sold out, let me be the first to say that we’re just happy he’s back.

Well Ladies and Gentleman, Bullrun is back, but this time it’s not what you think. Some of you may remember the now defunct Bullrun reality show that pitted contestants in a group of challenges for a huge grand prize. What you are about to view in this trailer however is a bit different. You see this is the real Bullrun Rally that took place in 2011 running from Las Vegas, NV to Miami, FL which means that it’s not only full of rally regulars, but a few celebrities as well. Air times are 11:30 pm PST Thursday, January 26th which is 2:30 am EST on Friday, January 27th. Now granted I know it’s late, but who cares? This is the digital age so make sure to set those DVR’s!

A few years ago I got my first taste of the 24 Hours of Lemons when I raced a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair up in Staford Springs, CT. The car was arguably the worst thing I’ve ever driven, but in the end it had an engine that just wouldn’t quit. The following year we ran a 1979 Buick Regal with a 301 cubic-inch small block, however while the car was great, the engine simply wasn’t long for this world. If you’ve ever been a competitor in Lemons then you know that your fate, at some point, will wind up in the hands of the judges. These icons of the judicial system have the right to levy penalties for just about anything they wish, which means at days end, they can either make or break your team. Smoking Tire host Matt Farah recently had the chance to be a guest judge at Lemons where he had the opportunity to impart his vast array of knowledge and wisdom on the poor unsuspecting competitors.

Some people though see fit to ignore the handbook and when this happens all hell breaks loose. You see a man’s automobile is his place of solace. It’s his therapist, his time machine and his getaway from the everyday. That’s why if you mess with it you’re in for a whole heap of trouble.

In short, if you start something, then you damn well better be able to finish it…

If you happened to catch the Golden Globe Awards this past weekend then you probably noticed that mega-star George Clooney took home the award for best lead actor in a feature film. Keep in mind that good-ole’ George wasn’t always the movie star that he is today. In fact like most actors his career started on television were he was on everything from The Facts of Life to E.R.. One of his lesser known roles though came in the form of a little known show called Street Hawk where Clooney played a getaway driver who pilots a supercharged 1969 Dodge Charger that was ripped straight off the Dukes of Hazzard lot. Now granted the entire scene is in Spanish, but I have a feeling it won’t matter as the combination of early 1980′s ultra-cheese T.V. and a Dodge Charger is great fun on any day of the week. Well Ladies and Gentlemen, if you’re looking for a sure fire way to break your back, have no fear because thanks to these rednecks (N.A.R.) and a busted up old truck, we can now show you how. You see the formula is actually quite simple.

• Step 1: Find a large piece of land that spans about 3 acres.
• Step 2: Obtain an old pick-up truck, preferably one that’s covered in prefabbed rust crumple zones.
• Step 3: Construct a makeshift ramp out of wooden palettes, dirt and old car parts.
• Step 4: Make sure at least 6 of your buddies are on hand and that at least one of them has a camera phone.
• Step 5: DO NOT, under any circumstances, wear safety gear.
• Step 6: Give yourself at least 1/4 mile of acceleration room, pin the throttle and go for broke.

Now, obviously your results may vary, but we’re confident that if you follow these 6 simple steps, that you’ll be able to break your back (along with other vital body parts) in no time.

Stewardess, salt flats, paratroopers, sushi, and Falconer. Those were the words used by MINI USA winner Mathew Foster when it came time to describe his perfect MINI commercial in 6 words or less. Big Matt was a contestant in MINI’s, “The Best Test Drive Ever” sweepstakes, whereby he’d get his dream test drive in the new 2012 MINI Coupe. Sure, sliding through the salt flats while a hot Asian chick feeds you sushi may be a little far fetched for some, but in Matthew’s mind, this was a totally feasible idea. I mean commercials are generally shot with a Hollywood director in the drivers seat anyway, so why not get all buck wild and go full force with the filming. Now while I wouldn’t count on you’re MINI experience being this wild, what I would say is go drive one, cause if it’s even 1/10th this fun you’d be a winner all around.

When Chevrolet released the specs of their new Camaro ZL1 the bow-tie faithful went nuts. I mean hell, 580 HP & 556 lb-ft of torque are more than respectable numbers in this day and age. Plus, when released, Chevy fans everywhere finally thought they had a car that would best the mighty Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang. However, just when people started praising the “Chevy Runs Deep” ads, Ford came out and announced that their new 2013 GT500 Mustang will have 650 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Hmm… nothing like a little rivalry right. Due to this, someone out there in internet-land wondered what it would be like if Hitler (yeah, that Hitler) was the head of GM, and how he’d react if he heard the news about Ford’s newest fire breathing pony car.
