If you’ve ever seen a motorcycle speed down your street or through your town, then you realize the dangers involved with riding. However what if it was legal to do this, what if, for instance, your town help comprise part of the course for the greatest race in all of motorcycling. This is the ‘Isle of Man’ TT, and for motorcyclists, it’s the holy grail of racing. Speeds in some places can exceed 200 mph while riders face insane cross winds and streets no bigger than one car width. The men are brave, the bikes fast, in a race that’s the last of its kind. Alex Chacon is the owner of a Kawasaki KLR 650, a motorcycle that is one of the best dual-sports in existence. It’s not overly fast, nor is it packed full of technology. Sometimes with cars and motorcycles getting back to basics is the best thing you can do. Take Triumphs new Scrambler 900 for example. A no frills motorcycle that gives the rider everything they need, and nothing they don’t. With 58 hp and 50 lb-ft of torque, the 900 has plenty of power to get you up and rolling, while at the same time, providing one with a bike that’s one of the nicest nostalgia rides we’ve come across in quite some time. I’ll be honest, one of the last places on this Earth that I’d want to go is the Arctic Circle. You see I hate the cold, like REALLY hate the cold. I know I’d be missing out on the picturesque beauty and tranquility, but at days end I’d find a way to deal with it. Murph (the guy in this video) is different. So different in fact that he went to the Arctic Circle on his trusty BMW R 1150 GS motorcycle. Even though he may (or may not) have a screw lose, I’ve got to give the guy credit, as this is one thing I’d never attempt.

Like I said, I hate the cold.

Nick Eterovic is a car designer who loves his job. However as a designer you’ve got to have something on the side that gets your creative juices flowing and stimulates the old noggin on a daily basis. For Eterovic, it’s his love of motorcycles and more importantly, how he can craft them without having to deal with a committee. Much Much Go is a video that’s been done a thousand times. So, you think you’re a great motorcycle rider do you? You think that because you own leathers, a nice helmet and maybe do 2 or 3 track days a year that this puts you in some kind of elite club. Well, think again, because what you’re about to see is something that will shatter any preconceived notions of what you think “fast” is.
