1971Cadillac_1

They rode like luxury liners, had absolutely no steering feel whatsoever, and were the size of a city block. The Cadillac’s of the 1970’s were some of the biggest and most comfortable automobiles ever produced in Detroit and if you’ve never driven one, well then, you’re seriously missing out. What you are seeing here is a Cadillac (of sorts), that’s been tastefully modified into the worlds coolest Cadillac / El Camino hybrid. Located in Lakeland, FL, this ’71 Fleetwood is truly a sight to behold. From the acres of gold paint, to the near perfect interior, to the 8-foot bed that you can fit a king sized mattress in, this wire-wheeled creation is sure to turn heads wherever it goes. eBay Deal of the Week: 1967 Sunbeam Tiger

Posted in eBay Motors, European Rides, General, Promoted, Rides by MrAngry | September 23rd, 2013 | 1 Response |

1967-Sunbeam-Tiger_1

The Sunbeam Tiger is one of those oddball little cars where everything came together in a package that many people unfortunately overlooked. These little cars were a great melding of British style and American power and were similar to the Shelby Cobras of that era. The one you see here is currently up for sale on eBay and has been highly modified with a host of performance enhancements. Power comes from a Ford 427ci Windsor V8 that was built by Paul Anthony Race Engines with a claimed power output of 449 rear-wheel horsepower. The chassis is built from custom 2×3 tube with a Chassis Works Mustang II-style front suspension utilizing chrome control arms and VariShock coil-overs. The car also sports Wilwood brakes with 13-inch rotors and six-piston calipers and a stout Tremec T56 6-speed transmission. The “Buy it Now” price of $89,900.00 may seem a bit steep, until that is, you actually break it down and factor in all the labor that’s involved in putting a car like this together. eBay Deal of the Week: 1970 RCR Porsche 917 Replica

Posted in Best of, eBay Motors, General, Porsche, Promoted by MrAngry | September 9th, 2013 | 1 Response |

Porsche917_1

The Porsche 917 is widely regarded as one of the most desirable and vicious automobiles to drive at speed. In race form it was powered by a flat-12 engine said to produce around 600 hp. That meant 0-60 mph in under 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 240 mph. The car you are viewing here is a replica made by RCR and uses a chassis that is a combination of an aluminum monocoque front section, with a tube for tube back-half in the rear. The chassis is designed to have a Porsche flat-six engine coupled to a 930 gearbox. This is a stunning re-creation of one of the most iconic race cars in history, especially when clad in that famous Gulf livery. You can get more information on the car by clicking on the eBay link below, or check out some more pics after the jump.

HummerH1_1

Here it is – the most inefficient vehicle on the planet Earth. This is a 1997 AM General Hummer H1 and to be quite honest, it’s spectacular. Powered by a turbocharged 6.5L 395 c.i. V8 diesel, this H1 had only covered 68,000 miles before it went through the wide-body conversion you see here. It rides on 46-inch tires with Rockstar rims, comes equipped with a Predator search and rescue bumper, custom LED brake lights, 9-foot roof rack and much more. Combine all this with some very trick matte grey paint and you truly do have a one-of-a-kind vehicle. You can read more about it by clicking on the eBay link below, or feel free to check out more pics after the jump.

eBay Deal of the Week: 1973 Datsun 240Z Pro-street

Datsun240z_1

Sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and other times, it’s in the eyes of the beer-holders. This 1973 Datsun 240Z may in fact fall into that latter category. In stock form the ’73 Datsun 240Z is a great little sports car thanks to it’s torquey inline-6 that made 151 hp and 146 lbf¬∑ft of torque. It handled great for its day and had looks that instantly made it a classic. The one you see here however is still a looker, but not for the reasons you may think. The inline-6 for instance has been replaced with a small-block 305 Chevy with a host of modifications and a Don Gartlis Hilborne injector air cleaner. The rear end is a 9-inch Ford unit, and the transmission is a 700r from GM that’s equipped with a reverse valve body. I have no doubt that this modified Z is an absolute riot on the street. It’s got personality, performance and a neck-snapping presence that’s unlike any other out there. So, if you’re the kind of person who wears Hawaiian shirts and drinks PBR from a can, well then, this is your ride!

eBay Deal of the Week: 1973 BMW 2002 Touring

1973BMW2002Touring_1

Now here’s something you don’t see everyday! A 1973 BMW 2002 Touring car that’s been converted over to full track specs. It features a 2.3L S14 M3 motor with 215 hp, an E21 Close Ratio 5-speed gearbox, 3:64 limited-slip differential, fiberglass hood, front fenders and fender turbo 2 flares that are made by Singer. This would make a wicked little alternative to a Mazda Miata or Corvette as the owner has spared no expense in putting this thing together. While the “Buy it Now” price of $48,500.00 may be a bit excessive, there is no question that this unique little track burner will turn heads (and great lap times) wherever it’s unleashed. eBay Deal of the Week: 1989 Porsche 928 GT

1989Porsche928GT_1

Before the Aston Martin Vanquish, before the Ferrari FF and before any of BMW’s M-Cars, there was this guy – the Porsche 928. It debuted in 1977 as a replacement to the 911, but instead of taking out its older brother, it decided to carve out its own road as one of the greatest GT cars in automotive history. This stunning example of the 1989 Porsche 928 GT is currently for sale on eBay and is a ride that any collector would be happy to own. The GT differentiates itself from other 928’s by way of being offered with a 5-speed manual transmission only, a 326 hp 32v V8 (up from the standard 316 hp), sport wheels and a digital trip computer on the dash. Mileage is just 19,849 and with its beautiful black-on-black paint and interior it looks as fresh today as it did when first produced some 24 years ago. eBay Deal of the Week: 1987 Buick Grand National GNX

Posted in Buick, Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, General, Promoted, Rides by MrAngry | August 5th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

1987BuickGNX_1

In 1987, the last year of the Grand National, Buick decided to give its mid-sized V6 muscle car some love by sending it to the folks over at ASC Mclaren. The result was the Grand National GNX, a car that seemingly decimated the competition during the late 1980’s. ASC Mclaren added larger 16-inch wheels, mild-fender flares and forward vents. The 3.8-liter turbocharged v6 was also bumped to 276 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, numbers that are thought to be seriously underrated. The one you are viewing is located in Dundalk, Maryland, has 64,273 miles on the clock and is in beautiful condition. It is also #234 of only 547 produced, however this one has gone through a high quality repaint. The owner is asking for a “Buy it Now” price of $39,000.00, which is not way out of the ballpark for these cars. The value of these cars has been climbing steadily in recent years, so if you’re in the market for one of these bad-ass Buicks, you may want to email the seller and start asking questions.

eBay Deal of the Week: 1978 Pontiac Trans Am WS6

Posted in Domestic Rides, eBay Motors, General, muscle cars, Pontiac, Promoted, Rides by MrAngry | July 29th, 2013 | Leave a Reply |

1978TransAm_1

The Pontiac Trans Am’s built between 1977-1981 are some of the most recognizable cars in all of motoring. Starring in such films as Smokey & the Bandit, Fast Five and Old School, these cars were not only great to look at, but had an on screen persona that has been seldom matched. What you are viewing here is a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am with the WS6 performance package. The engine is a 6.6L 403 that makes about 220 hp through a turbo-hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic transmission. The rear end houses a posi-traction unit with a 3.23:1 gear set. The seller claims that this car has gone through a frame-off restoration and that the Trans Am is in original “almost new” condition. If you’re a fan of these cars, this particular one, especially with the t-tops, is the one to own. Make sure to either click through for more photos or go directly to the ebay link below.
