eBay Deal of the Week: 1983 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole

Italian cars and reliability are two things that generally do not go hand-in-hand. Sometimes however there are exceptions to that rule and according to this owner, the following 1983 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole is one of them. The owner states that aside from a few small body blemishes that this car was “Kept in mechanically perfect condition” and that “paint chips are your only headache.” Now I’m not sure if that’s 100% accurate, but if it is, you’re looking at getting into a Ferrari for the same price as a new Honda Accord. Pretty good stuff if you ask me.

Now here is a car that you truly don’t see everyday. This is a 1968 Cadillac Eldorado and I’ve got to say that it is a stunning piece. Most people overlook the ’68 Eldo because it was a departure from the long-finned style that made Cadillac famous. This example packs a 472 cu-in V8 that’s rated at 375 hp. It’s front-wheel drive and puts the power down through a 3-speed automatic transmission (can you say torque steer). The current owner has added a rebuilt carburetor from Autoline, electronic ignition and a new distributor, otherwise the car is said to be in perfect working order. If you’re looking to get into the classic car hobby and want a fun little runabout, the BMW 2002 is a perfect place to start. The 2002 is considered by many to be one of the first true sports sedans on the market. The glass-house cabin means outstanding visibility, and thanks to the updated M10 4-cyclinder engine, you can rest assured that power will never be a problem. The one you are viewing here is a 1976 model (the last year of the 2002) and has been lovingly refurbished by its owner. Is it perfect? Well, no. But that doesn’t mean it’s far off. eBay Deal of the Week: 1971 Chevrolet Custom C20

If you stop and think about it, there really isn’t anything exciting about a work truck of any make or model. However this 1971 Chevrolet Custom C20 of Ongaro & Sons Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is a pretty trick piece. The suspension has been upgraded with components from a 1977 1/2 ton C10 which include: the rear end, front control arms with new bushings added, and disc brakes. The truck has been lowered with the following work being done recently: cut front springs, rear flip kit, rear shackle kit, frame C-notched, front and rear shocks, and a shock relocation kit. The rims are 18″ billet aluminum with custom made adapters for stock hubcaps. Granted this truck may not be for everyone, but in my opinion it’s definitely one to take a look at.

eBay Deal of the Week: 1986 PORSCHE 944 TURBO

Posted in eBay Motors, General, Porsche, Promoted by MrAngry | November 11th, 2013 | 1 Response |

Porsche944_2

Back in the mid-1980′s the Porsche 944 was one bad-ass little sports car. It featured a high-revving 4-banger, that, if you decided to spend some extra loot, could be had in a turbo version. This is a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo and believe it or not, it’s only got 18,409 miles on the clock. The seller wants $27,995.00, which is a bit nuts for this thing. However if you’re looking for the cleanest 944 on the planet, then you may just want to give this thing look at the link below.

I sometimes wonder what will happen to classic cars and hot-rods once the older generation passes on. Muscle cars will most likely still be around, but I’m more concerned about the cars from the 1920′s-1950′s. What you are viewing here is a 1934 Ford coupe that’s been transformed into a Pierson Bros. Salt Flats tribute. Built the right way, this old Ford is equipped with a 1934 frame, steel firewall and cowl with functional vent, a fiberglass body, freshened up 5.0L V-8 and an AOD transmission. It also features a Petronix ignition, Edelbrock carb and a Snow White water pump system. The paint on the car is flawless as is the interior that houses Stewart Warner gauges and great looking bomber seats with leather inserts. This is a ride that anyone would be proud to own, so make sure to check it out and help save another classic!

What we have here is a rather rare Ferrari that’s been transformed into a convertible. The 1974 Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 was produced from 1972-1976 and was the successor to the 365 GTC/4. It was a grand tourer of the highest order, packing a 320 hp V12 under the hood, room for four adults and stunning Pininfarina style. This particular 365 GT4 was converted into a drop-top sometime in the 1980′s and, according to the seller, was done so to the highest degree. The car has service records dating back to 1995 documenting over $58,000 spent on professional services. Make sure to check out the eBay Motors ad below and check out more pics after the jump.

A mix of Italian styling and American muscle, the Detomaso Pantera is a super car hybrid of sorts. The overall package worked, but it was never a true star amongst exotic car enthusiasts. What you are viewing today on eBay Motors is a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera that has been tastefully modified with extended fender flares, Ferrari 550 Maranello headlamps, custom 17-inch wheels and Wilwood brakes. The interior remains stock with the exception of nicely integrated 4-point harnesses. If you’ve ever been interested in owning an affordable super car, then this 1972 Pantera is a car you may want to take a look at.

eBay Deal of the Week: 1966 Corvair Crown Conversion

Wouldn’t it have been great if the United States had one truly great mid-engine sports car? I mean yes, there was the Ford GT40, Ford GT and of course the Pontiac Fiero (that sucked though), but just imagine if American manufacturers really had their act together and created something awesome. What you are seeing here is a 1966 Corvair Crown V8 conversion. The engine is a 350 cu-in ZZ4 small block with a hydraulic cam and aluminum heads, the interior is in marginal condition at best, and the performance? According to the owner the car is sensational, has plenty of power and drives like a slot car. Check out more pics after the jump or go directly to the eBay Motors ad below. The /DRIVE Network’s BIG MUSCLE recently did an episode on a Crown Corvair that was in a word, awesome. So make sure to check that out as well.
