I mean here was this thing that looked like a pogo-stick with wheels that was supposed to spare one the inconvenience of, get this, walking. Here in the United States driving is a privilege, not a right and Americans view their licenses as gold. We study, take courses and ultimately take a long drawn-out drivers test in order to be deemed “competent” to operate a motor vehicle. In other parts of the world though it seems that not only does driver training not exist, but that there are also no negative ramifications for taking out another motorist. Well it comes to our attention that they’re now not only wanted by the California authorities, but that a few internet bloodhounds are eagerly trying to track them down as well. If there is one circuit on this planet that I am dying to drive, it’s Germany’s famed Nürburgring. Known as “The Green Hell”, this 17 mile long track is actually a public motorway that’s open to everyone with a few dollars in their pocket and a car that’s stout enough to take control of its 73 turns. Unfortunately though, there are those who underestimate the ‘Rings ability to throw them a curve when they least expect it.
