Just so you know, stunts like the one you’re about to see between Pikes Peak record holder Rhys Millen in a new McLaren 12C Spider and Chanelle Sladics, Winter Games Medallist are completely rigged. That does not however mean that they’re any less entertaining to watch. The story is something straight out of Top Gear and pits Millen against Sladics in a made-for-the-camera race to the bottom of the mountain. Check it out after the jump.

The folks of See See Motorcycles have managed to carve out quite a little niche for themselves in the soggy city of Portland, Oregon. Here they conjure up all sorts of ideas in which they use to get people to buy their stuff. She’s raced in the Carrera Panamericana, run the Mille Miglia and in the not-too-distant future Heidi Hetzer of Berlin, Germany will attempt to circumnavigate the globe in a 1921 Hispano-Suiza. Thank God for young minds, the will to drive cars, and 12 year-old Kathryn DiMaria. This is the girl who a few years ago went up to her Mom and Dad and asked them for permission to rebuild, get this, a 1986 Pontiac Fiero. At first her parents looked at her sideways, I mean 12 year-old girls should be playing with dolls, not rebuilding 26 year-old sports cars, right? However Kathryn is not just any girl. In fact not only has she been rebuilding the little two-seater with the help of her family and friends, but she’s become an inspiration to all those around her.

Ah yes, the 1970′s. A time when fashion was awful, smog regulations were in full swing and car chases in films were made of gold. The following chase comes from the film Cleopatra Jones. The story of secret government agent who moonlights as a fashion model (not making this up) and drives a late ’60′s Corvette. This chase is filled with so much cinematic awesomeness it’s frightening. From the dubbed-over sounds from Bullitt, to the shifting from park to drive while the cars moving, Cleopatra Jones may just contain the campiest car chase I’ve ever seen.
