   Great Javelin pics. I have been driving my first AMC, a 77 Pacer, for 18 years. I have frame off restored it twice. I finally got my hands on my most wanted AMC, the 1969 Javelin a couple of years ago in Hawaii. It was in a farmers field wasting away. I took it home and took it apart and brought it back to life. Because amc motors are a little hard to get, I found a doner 396 from a chevelle and used a turbo 400 trans with a built 9 inch ford rear end. The end result was a stupid fast, great little toy that I haven’t been able to wipe the smile off my face every sence.
