Cadillac Earns Surprising/Suspicious Award As Top Luxury Brand

According to the results of a study released today by a proud GM, Cadillac has been honored as the Top Luxury Brand for the second year in a row at the 2009 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. Apparently wrangling their focus group from the employee lounge at the RenCen, the AutoPacific team used the input from 25,000 new vehicle owners nationwide to determine this year’s award winners. In addition to dubiously crowning Cadillac the king of luxury, AutoPacific’s questionably objective voters also awarded the Cadillac Escalade the title of Top Luxury SUV.
After signing the check for the undisclosed amount AutoPacific demanded for their services, Cadillac vice president Mark McNabb remarked earnestly, “Cadillac is extremely proud of this award since it is based on the real experiences of new vehicle buyers. This feedback from actual owners underscores our commitment to excellence in product and customer service.”
