2012 Nissan Rogue SV FWD: RideLust Review
Speed cameras are bunk, they’re a waste of money, and the general population hates them. There’s a good amount of research, in addition to logic and reason, saying that they shouldn’t be installed at all.
But, of course, logic and reason are ineffective against the mindless behemoth of government. So some citizens are fighting back the only way they think they can, with vandalism. In Montgomery County, Maryland, some local citizens spray-painted “SCAM” in large white lettering on the street just ahead of the cameras. This is the third time someone has painted a message near the cameras. Previously the words “GOV. SCAM” and “GREEDY SCAM” were painted there.

In the UK, some people went even further and set a camera on fire, causing about $5,200 dollars in damage.
I can understand the vigilantes feelings of disgust at these dangerous and ineffective wastes of taxpayer money, but vandalism may not be the best way to combat these cameras.

I like the burning tire approach, but a molotov cocktail would be more effective.
