It’s an automotive icon built by one of the largest and most respected manufacturers in the industry. It gets very little press and or notoriety and yet was the first car to wear one of the most famous monikers in all of motoring. It’s the BMW M1 and to this day, it is one of the most underrated super cars ever created. The guys over at XCAR recently got their hands on one of these rare machines to sample for a day and found that even though its more than 30 years old, it’s still got it where it counts.
