2012 Chevrolet Sonic LTZ: RideLust Review
This is a 1969 Dodge Polara. It’s 19-feet long, weighs 4200 lbs and is powered by a 383 cu in V8 that makes 335 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. Now while the HP rating of the old 383′s weren’t that high, that 425 lb-ft of torque is where the engine really shines. When the engineers and designers at Chrysler were designing the Polara way back when, I can’t imagine that they ever thought that these babies would actually make good drift machines. Thanks to their long wheelbase though I have to say that what this gentleman is doing with this sucker is actually quite impressive. A little throttle here, a little steering input there and this guy just may give Tanner Foust a run for his money. Click through for the video.
