Alex Chacon is the owner of a Kawasaki KLR 650, a motorcycle that is one of the best dual-sports in existence. It’s not overly fast, nor is it packed full of technology. Instead this is a machine that is simple to work on and as about as bulletproof as Ford Knox. That may explain why Alex decided to choose it as his stallion of choice when he embarked on an adventure that took him 503 days, through 22 countries and covering more than 82,450 miles (not a misprint). The Modern Motorcycle Diaries is almost guaranteed to be the best thing you watch today, so set aside 10-minutes somewhere, grab an icy beverage and click play.

It’s as much a part of the Fast and Furious franchise as any of the main characters, and has been in all but 2 of the 6 installments. It’s Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger, and although it gets destroyed during each go-round, movie magic has proven that this old Dodge has more lives then any cat you’ve ever come to know and love. For the Fast and Furious 6, the Charger is once again, back. However this time it’s been reincarnated as a highly modified 1969 Dodge Daytona, the pinnacle of the Chargers evolution. Logic dictates that using a Daytona was the next step for the Charger, however now my curiosity is really peaked as I’m wondering what’s going to show up in F&F 7…

Anyone whose ever driven the new Subaru BRZ will tell you two things. First, it’s an amazing car with great road feel, handling and a fun factor that’s off the charts. Two, it’s underpowered and slow. Crawford Performance seeks to cure this by offering a package that not only doubles the BRZ’s horsepower, but TRIPLES it’s torque! Matt Farah of TUNED recently got his hands on Crawford’s new BRZ to see just how good it really is.

Sometimes with cars and motorcycles getting back to basics is the best thing you can do. Take Triumphs new Scrambler 900 for example. A no frills motorcycle that gives the rider everything they need, and nothing they don’t. With 58 hp and 50 lb-ft of torque, the 900 has plenty of power to get you up and rolling, while at the same time, providing one with a bike that’s one of the nicest nostalgia rides we’ve come across in quite some time. Host Jamie Robinson gives us a little insight into just what makes this new Scrambler so special.

It’s no secret that Dodge has had a long standing relationship with the Fast and the Furious movie franchise. From Dom’s 1970 Charger to the new Challengers and other Dodge products, Chrysler is banking on the fact that the F&F will continue to help bolster brand recognition with automotive enthusiasts throughout the world. The new film, Fast & Furious 6 is no exception and continues this tradition by incorporating some new Alfa Romeos into the action. Ralph Gilles, SRT CEO sits down for the cameras to tell us about the ins-and-outs of this relationship.

Fast, fun and all-wheel drive. Those were the parameters that Chris Harris set forth when he put together this comparison test between the R8 V10 Plus, Porsche 911 Turbo S and a Litchfield GT-R. All are stock except for the GT-R which has been tuned to the likes of 750 hp. However, does all that extra power necessarily make it better than its German rivals? Harris recently put this trio through a gaggle of tests to find out exactly that!

Reimer tells us that he was drawn to the GT-R because it possesses the same key elements that he utilizes in downhill boarding; grip and control. Click through and check it out!

Stunning silver paint, T-tops, turbo style wheels, and a big screaming chicken on the hood. These were the basic elements of the 10th Anniversary 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This is about as “in your face” as an American car could get in 1979. The second generation Trans Am, made famous by movies like “Cannonball” and “Smokey and the Bandit” is one of those rare cars that adolescent dreams were made of. Power came from a 400 cubic-inch V8 that was coupled to a 4-Speed transmission. With 220 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque this was no stump puller, however they did handle well if equipped with the WS6 suspension package. The one you are viewing here has a mere 11,500 miles on the clock from new and comes with a very high “Buy it Now” price tag of $43,995.00. If however you’re looking to relive some of your old glory days from the 1970′s, well then, this may just be the best chance you’re ever going to get. Click through for more pics or go directly to the eBay ad below.
