Earning a richly-deserved tip o’ the hat for their impressive showing, Audi of America was awarded top honors for superior design at the EyesOn Design Awards Ceremony at the 2009 North American International Auto Show. The EyesOn Design Awards bestows a total of four awards, two in each category, for exemplary design in both concept and production vehicles. Of those four coveted honors, Audi of America managed to snag two of them for both the Audi Sportback Concept and the Audi R8 V10.

Extremely proud of Audi’s achievements, Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen lavished both award-winning vehicles with praise for their forward-thinking innovation. “The R8 illustrates Audi’s highest standards in performance, design, function, and quattro all-wheel drive.” He continued, “The Sportback concept also showed Audi’s future direction with form and function, most of which will be available to customers in the not-so-distant future.”
