2012 Chevrolet Sonic LTZ: RideLust Review

It’s no secret that watching crash compilation videos is something that we all love to do. Maybe it’s because the automotive misfortune that’s taking place is not our own, or maybe it’s because we’re just a voyeuristic society. Whatever the case though we flock to these suckers like moths to an open flame. Granted cities with a higher population density are prone to have more wrecks then others, but for the most part these accidents happen because of the inexperience and or, inept driver who resides behind the wheel. The following 5-minutes of debauchery comes to us from cold and snowy Russia. A land that is home to cheap cars, poor drivers and apparently roads that are rain soaked year round.

One of the incidents reminded me of my commute to work today… There I was in the right lane of the freeway, moving along at a decent rate, when all of a sudden the traffic stops for no apparent reason. In my Challenger I stopped with plenty of room to spare, but heard brake lockup from behind me and rolled forward a little bit to find a mirrorful of a typical white full-size panel van with ladder racks on top of it.
(Of course, a good part of the population of North Dakota is descended from formerly-Russian immigrants, including myself… hrmm.)
