For those of you unfamiliar with the name, Geiger is a German tuning firm with a fetish for American muscle. They’ve massaged Mustangs, Hummers, Vipers, Camaros, and Corvettes into sophisticated European-styled dream machines as drool-worthy as anything that ever came out of Pininfarina.
Their newest creation is a deadly fast Z06 sporting a C6 GT bodykit and a LS7 swelled to 7.6L capable churning out 890hp and 694lb-ft of torque.
Interested? So are we.
Geiger modified the cylinder block, heads, and crank before attaching two giant turbos to force-feed this glorious powerplant. When all is said and done, the car is potent enough to hurl you down the left hand lane of the nearest interstate at 220mph.
Obviously, you need more than just a big engine and fancy bodywork to do such things as relatively safely as possible without blowing up you or your engine. So the rest of the modifications are directed towards the longevity of the drivetrain–including beefing up the transmission, adding a carbon fiber driveshaft, and strengthening the rear differential. To help put all that power to the ground, they add a half mile of rubber patches in each tire well, sized 285/30 up front and 345/25 out back along with some StopTech brakes all around to help you slow things down before you reach the next speed trap. Special Geiger-tuned adjustable shocks, anti-roll bars, and high-rate springs top off the transformation.
Apparetly, though, even German know-how is incapable of solving the Corvette’s biggest aesthetic faux pas: those abominable side-view mirrors.
