There is just something right about seeing a muscle car smoking the hides for no other reason then that is what they were made to do. Engines back in the day ran on cheap fuel and made huge horsepower. Take Chrysler’s 440 for example, it came stock with 375 horsepower and a stump pulling 480 lb-ft torque. Apparently though the one powering this primer gray 1969 Dodge Daytona has been massaged a bit as it’s making around 610 horsepower. Evidence of this can be seen as the owner of this monster decides to wake-up the neighbors by doing just a little burnout. Like the saying old goes, “Smoke em’ if ya’ got em”.
